Tablescape Thursday

This week for Tablescape Thursday I have another fall theme. Thanks to Susan at Between Naps on the Porch, who hosts the TTs, click here to see many more tablescapes!

My inspiration for this TT started with this orange mercury glass pumpkin,

a mercury glass pine cone and two mercury glass acorns, one gold, one silver. I found the mercury glass last year and the year before. I haven't seen any fall style mercury glass this year, have you?

I used the same golden tan tablecloth as last week since it has the fall leaves design.
With using the black plates trimmed in bronze, I felt the centerpiece needed some black.

The centerpiece:

The bronze shimmer napkins are tied with black and orange ribbon and topped with sparkly acorns.
Two acorns were brown wood, the other two acorns are actually metal bells! They were also brown and I covered all of them with gold glitter. The gold glitter doesn't show true in these pictures, for some reason they look a little green.

The crystal goblets are rimmed in gold.

Comparison of photo without flash, above.

And with flash below:

I hope you enjoyed this fall tablescape!

Have a happy day!
God Bless.

Katherine

Hi, again! So what is mercury glass anyways??

I don't think I have ever seen solid black plates used in a table setting before. I have seen checked black plates. So this was really different!!

I really like seeing more and more acorn decorations for fall and yours are terrific! Your 'scape is lovely and the way you "grouped" your centerpiece together by putting fabric around it is a great idea!

Katherine - several of the photos that are in Santa Suppers Revisited are posted in the advertisement on my blogsite. The new photos are not ... but will be included in future books. The Santa book is a great Christmas gift, but they are going pretty fast! I should have printed more!

Thanks for asking.
