My husband brought these flowers to me yesterday. They are unusual, they almost have stripes on them. Click on these above for detail. This is the second time he has found them and given them to me. Look what else he bought me -- chicken soup, because I have been sick with a bad cold! And guess what -- he gave me the cold! He must get the germs from school (he teaches at the college) and he always shares them with me!! Look what else he bought me! Orange slices, a little peace offering! Do you like orange slices?
So sweet...the roses that is, not the cold! They are beautiful and I just saw some this week at the store like them. And yes, I love orange slices. It is one candy I can buy and hubby won't eat! He just brought me some gourmet chocolates.....wanna guess how many I may actually get to eat?
How sweet of your husband to pamper you while you're under the weather. I do see the stripes on the roses, so unique and pretty. I do like orange slices but haven't had any for years. I'll have to look for them next time I'm out.

Aww...I hope you feel better soon, Katherine! The roses are *beautiful,* what a sweet husband you have! I love orange slices. They are my favorite non-chocolate candy. :0) ~Kelli
You do have a dear, sweet husband. I'm sorry you have been sick and hope you are feeling better. The roses are lovely, and yes, I love orange slices. :) I always want to buy them at the Cracker Barrel.
Over the years I have done a different Thanksgiving centerpiece each year. This year I'm using my velvet pumpkins again. I added red ros...

Prayer - before going on the internet
Almighty and eternal God, who created us in Your image and taught us to seek after all that is good, true and beautiful, especially in the divine person of Your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, grant, we ask You, that during our journeys through the internet, we will direct our hands and eyes only to that which is pleasing to You and treat with charity and patience all those souls whom we encounter. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
