I have been busy decorating. I'm just about finished, don't think I've been finished this early ever before!
I have a collection of Nativities and I like to display them differently every Christmas. This is my favorite this year, using pink roses and the tall lantern I bought at Hobby Lobby last year.
This display is on the small curio cabinet in the dining room.
I also used another favorite Nativity at the other end. My husband brought me this Fontanini Nativity from Italy about ten years ago. It looks beautiful with the pink roses.
Believe it or not, this is already the second location for this vignette. I started out with it on the Bombay chest in the living room: It looked very pretty, especially with the roses on the lamp, but it can be enjoyed more in the dining room where I moved it to. Here are a few pictures of it on the Bombay chest:
Okay, back to the dining room on the curio cabinet:
Which is your favorite place?
I have lots more decorations to share with you. I'm excited about Christmas as most of our family will be here with us for a few days! I've enjoyed decorating the house for them!
I'm linking to Marty's Table Top Tuesday and to Rhoda's Vignette party, thanks for hosting, ladies!! Click on their names for lots more inspiration.
Merry Christmas!

Katherine, your vignette is pretty. I'm like you, I end up moving things around. LOL
Happy Holidays........Sarah
Moving things until you find the perfect spot is half the fun of decorating. I love all your nativities. The one your hubby bought is so beautiful! I have quite a nativity collection too, but so far have only two of them on display. That may change though. :)....just sayin'. :)
How beautiful, Katherine! Love what you did with the lantern as a cloche. This is such a great idea!
XO,
Sheila
Oh Katherine, your Nativity's are both gorgeousa nd theya re displayed so beautifully. I love the pink roses andusing the lantern is such a great idea, as well as the cake stand. Gorgeous. I like the DR best, stunning. Thanks for joining TTT. Hugs, Marty
Good Morning ,Katherine!
I cannot believe that the B&B Tour is the same weekend I have to go out of town to see Cecelia. I'm taking her to a Victorian Christmas event at a friend's house. Rats! I would love to have met up with you and done this tour. In terms of the inns, they are spread all over downtown, but there are clusters. Will you be able to take a tour train on this tour? Or is it straight walking? Either way, should be fun!
XO,
Sheila
What inspiration!! I will put mine by my bed.
I love, love, love the way you put the Holy Family in the lantern. That is just perfect to me.
I actually like both locations. I kept scrolling back and forth to decide and decided to go with the dining room like you did.
The pink is such a lovely and DIFFERENT touch. Love that.
I just love everyone's Christmas decor. Guess what, you have inspired me! I am getting out one of my lanterns and placing a nativity scene in it! What a way to set it off! You are too creative!
Hi, dear friend -
I'm just stopping by to catch up and see what you've been doing in your home. My decorating has just begun - we were away for a few days and our daughter and grandchildren stayed here. I needed to wait until our return to put up things that would be 'fun' for our two-year-old granddaughter to get into when her mommy wasn't looking! So, the fun begins today! You decorating is wonderful - and inspiring!

Katherine, I adore all your Christmas! You just gave me the best idea! I have a lantern that someone gave to me as a gift and I have had several ideas but now I know what I need to do with it! Love how you done your lantern! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
