White Christmas

I have grown to love Cuisine Kathleen's all white challenges, or rather white with one color. Although she didn't have one this Christmas, I went ahead and did one of my own. I guess this one is white with two colors since it has red and green with the white. Click on Kathleen's name for more inspiration.

Inspiration was these Vera Christmas holly and berry napkins.

I always like to have a Nativity for our Christmas table centerpiece. I have a collection of Nativities, but this all white Nativity is a favorite.

I like the serene white with the pops of red and green.
I've used the Battenburg lace tablecloth many times, and it is perfect for this tablescape.
The plates and the goblets are all from Dollar Tree and the red handled flatware and the pearl napkin rings from Ross.

I didn't have to buy anything for this tablescape, I used what I had!

After taking all these pictures I walked into the kitchen and saw my red chargers on the counter!! Can't believe I forgot to use them!  Sooo, I had to take the pictures all over again!

So what do you think, serene white without the chargers,

or a big pop of red!

I can just about guess which one you prefer!

My focus is on the beautiful centerpiece!
I wish you could see it in person!
It makes me happy each time I walk by!
I guess you can see I used an artificial wreath and faux poinsettia and holly as accents.

I hope you don't mind that I'm showing both sets of pictures - with and without the red chargers.

By the way the red chargers are from Home Goods, a few years ago.

Our "White Christmas" here in Florida!

If you look closely you can see my Old Country Roses Christmas plates in the china cabinet:

I doubt I'll have time to do a tablescape with those Christmas dishes, but I love them!

We are having a small family gathering for Christmas! There will be six of us.

I'm also linking to Susan's Tablescape Thursday. Click on her name for lots of fun.

Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas!

Kathine, this is a lovely table, and the chargers really do make the plates pop! I think my MIL might have had those same napkins they Re so pretty as is your nativity. This table is just perfect, and I know you will have a wonderful Christmas!

I wondered if. You were getting down to St. Augustine this year. I have been housebound, then gone for over a week, but I am back. Now I have to put the pedal to the metal! I just heard the tour train ride by with people singing Christmas songs. It is called the Holly Jolly Trolley. ;-)

What a beautiful centerpiece with the white nativity! The red place mats on the battenburg tablecloth is lovely. Your white china is pretty for each place setting and the napkins add a great accent!
A very Merry Christmas to You and Your Family!

I love your Nativity centerpiece, Katherine. I can see why it makes you smile. I do love the red chargers for the pop of color on the beautiful battenburg lace tablecloth. The napkins are so pretty. I love that you had everything already. Merry Christmas!

The centerpiece was the first element to catch my eye!!! That is SO pretty, Katherine!!! I don't know that I have ever seen a standing figurine of Jesus, Mary & Joseph like that. Really, really pretty!!!

OK, I'll admit it does make the table pop more with the chargers, but it was beautiful before you added them. It's all a matter of "what you don't know won't hurt ya" when it comes to forgetting things before guests arrive! ;-)

Enjoy your warm & sunny Christmas in Florida, and think about us poor souls up here in Missouri freezing our tushies off! I think we're actually going to have a white Christmas this year. Snow is supposed to roll in to town on Saturday and the temperatures will stay well below freezing for the next week, so white Christmas it is!

My best to you and Joe this holiday! Merry Christmas!!!

It is lovely, K, with or without the chargers! The centerpiece is so pretty! I couldn't do a white challenge again so soon, they would hang me, LOL! I am glad you enjoy them though!
Thanks for linking this festive tble to Let's Dish!
