Thanks to Susan for hosting Tablescape Thursday each week so we can enjoy creating and seeing what others have created! Click on her name to go to her blog for lots more inspiration.
The roses below were the inspiration for this tablescape. When my husband brought them to me he asked if I've ever seen green roses!
I think I waited too long to take the pictures because when they opened up a bit, they started losing the green shade. If you look closely you may be able to detect the green!
He wanted me to do a tablescape with them so I chose the green petal salad plates (from Marshall's) and the dark green (Dollar Tree) dinner plates. The green tablecloth and wedding lace table cloth (both from Ross) provided the first layer. The clear handled flatware (Ross) goes well with this! I have enjoyed using the tri-colored goblets with so many different fall tablescapes, I am not sorry I bought them (at TJ maxx.)
I added some faux fall leaves among the "green" roses to add some orange to go with the goblets.
I bought these crystal acorns last year, too late to do a fall tablescape, so I'm excited to use them now.
They were at Ross and were only about $4.99. It said salt and pepper shakers on the box, but I can not find any holes anywhere in them! No place to add the salt and pepper, and no little holes to shake it out! LOL! Maybe this is why they were so cheap, you think?? Who cares, I think they are pretty just as decoration!
My autumn rose tablescape:
Do you recognize the napkins? I've used them several times!
It all started with the "green roses!"
This is why I named this the Autumn Rose tablescape!
Won't you join us!
I hope you enjoyed my autumn rose tablescape!
Have a happy fall day!
God Bless.

Very pretty. I love the green and orange together! Beautiful roses!
Your husband is a peach! Yes I have seen pale green roses -- they are beautiful.
First, how sweet is it that your husband brings you flowers? So, so sweet!!! They don't much make 'em like that anymore! Second, your overlay on the dining table is just beautiful!!! It goes perfectly with your arrangement! Enjoy those pretty flowers, and give your husband a high five from me!!!
Very pretty, Katherine!
I've never seen green roses either.
Tell J. he did good.
Love your tablecloth and dishes.
What a pretty setting and how nice that your hubby brought you the roses and wanted you to use them in a tablescape:@)
Your table is beautiful! I do see the subtle green coloring of the roses, and they really enhance the rest of your table!
I saw those glasses at HomeGoods and decided to pass on them. Now I'm sorry I did. I can see how versatile they'd be. Nice job!
Joe is a sweetheart!...love shopping at Dollar tree, this week my tablescape was purchased at dollar tree,I think it only cost me about $20.

Katherine, those are lovely, and I think that's so neat that they were green. I've never seen anything like that. How sweet that he wanted you to have them because they were so unique.
I love your cloth, and I love the way your green dishes look with both that and the pretty roses. Such a special table you've set for us. Thank you for sharing...
Happy Tablescape Thursday...
XO,
Sheila :-)
Gorgeous. I love the white and orange and the plates are so pretty. Stunning linens. Beautiful tablescape. Hugs, Marty
What a pretty table! I love that your husband brought you green roses with the idea of a tablescape in mind. The orange accents really add a lot to this table -- the glassware is just perfect!
A very pretty table! The roses are beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
What beautiful roses -- that husband of yours is a real charmer. Love the roses with the fall leaves -- a very pretty combination.
How sweet of your hubby to give you roses, Katherine, and they are gorgeous even if they are losing the green color. I love your plates and your goblets are also very pretty. Thanks for the congratulatory note on the store. Actually, I made top sales this month. It was last month that I was #2 and it was only my first month of opening. I am so excited!...Christine
I almost missed this one! I don't have as much time as usual to enjoy tablescapes and am doing it a little at a time.
I love your roses. I have never seen green tinted roses that I can recall. I think they made the perfect autumn rose tablescape. I'm really fond of the colors on it!
I laughed with you about the salt and pepper shakers. That's so funny. At least they're cute!
What a pretty table! I love the orange and green combination. Your roses are so beautiful.
I'm late doing my comments this week...green roses, now that is right up my alley...very, very pretty. Joe has a great eye when it comes to roses. You know I love this table, it has lots of my favorite color. Those crystal acorns are adorable without salt and pepper! Don't you love it that the napkins are reversible. I think I looked at the same wine stems (lime with a deep amber), which I really liked, last year but they only had 2 so I passed thinking it would be hard to find another pair...and I never have seen them again! Thanks for sharing your beautiful table.
I adore those pale green roses, their color is so extraordinary. They go so well with your petal plates. The shape of those plates is just exquisite. I can't believe those goblets. What fun you can have with them. I have never seen anything quite like them. Thanks for setting a lovely table.
So,so pretty! Love the green dishes, I wish I had some green dishes! lol The cloths are so pretty! Love the roses!!!
I've used the green roses in centerpieces...they are so lovely. Your tablescape is so pretty with the greens and oranges. I love the acorn s&p without any way to add salt and pepper! That's a first for me! Thank you for sharing your charming design. Cherry Kay
It looks beautiful, K! How sweet of Joe to buy you roses! Love those acorn s and p!
Beautiful table. How sweet that your husband not only bought you the roses, but that he wanted you to do a tablescape with them. Lucky you!
