We bought something new a couple of months ago and I want to share it with you. Below is the "before." My cookbooks were stored on this unsightly bookcase that was beginning to sag in the middle!
I had been looking for a new way to display the cookbooks and when I saw this cute stand at TJ Maxx, I grabbed it quickly!
I put some of my favorite cookbooks in each basket
They are close-by in the breakfast nook beside the kitchen.
I like it a lot, but it didn't hold all my cookbooks and I'm not ready to get rid of all my old cookbooks. I've been a collector of cookbooks and some were gifts from family and friends. Soooo, we started looking again for something else to display them in. We found this small shelf at Hobby Lobby at a good price, so it came home with us!
Now I have the remainder of my cookbooks displayed again where I can reach them. This is in a little corner in the breakfast nook next to the kitchen.
Do you still like cookbooks or do you get your recipes online? I do get a lot of recipes online, but just in case the power is off - I still have my cookbooks! LOL!
Do you still cook? I do, but not every day. We eat out at least once a week, sometimes more. My husband also sometimes cooks!
So, which stand do you like best, this one?
or this one? I'm enjoying both of them!

So many different book case styles, you have such cute pictures of cool books, I can see I have some of the same,,,love the basket one...Phyllis
I have some special cookbooks...but not many. I do not cook like I used to. With coupons, we often can eat out cheaper....and control our desserts! I do cook more in the winter....like soups!
I like both of them. The one with the baskets is my favorite because it's so basket-y and cute. I love the idea that you can separate out the ones you grab regularly from the ones that are part of a treasured collection.
My sister collects cookbooks, too. She loves them. Since I'm not a great cook to begin with and don't really enjoy it as much as other things, I got rid of most of mine a few years ago at a yard sale. I kept a pitiful few, the ones that I either really do use or that have sentimental value. Most of the time, I get and store my recipes online now. I like to go to allrecipes and find new ones. In fact, for the first time in my life, I actually enjoy cooking a bit more. I think it's because the online sites have more of a tutorial or suggestion concept rather than just plain recipes.

I love them both! I think the baker's rack is my favorite...it holds more! I have a lot of cookbooks, too and it's fun to look through them for ideas. You have such a beautiful home. Enjoy your week!
I love both of them but that stand is so cute and such a great space saver! Love it!
Hope you are well and enjoying the cool down in weather. What a relief!
xo,
Sheila
There is never enough room for cook books! They are wonderful inspiration.
