Time for Kelli's Show and Tell, go to There's No Place Like Home, for more fun. Due to our vacation, and the Easter holiday, I haven't done S&T in a while and I have missed it.
Today, in keeping with the tea book theme yesterday, I'm sharing some of the children's tea books I have started collecting. We have two 20-month-old grandchildren, a boy and a girl! I'm going to teach them about tea parties, and read them these tea books (I hope the little boy's dad will allow this! Ha-ha!) I'm always on the lookout for more children's books about tea.
Thank you for your interest, please leave a comment! And please do return soon!
Katherine

Great little tea books.......but I
am very envious of the adult Mary
Englebreit tea book in the last
post. I just love her artwork.
A tip of my Lady Gray tea to you!
Cool catch for ST! Have a wonderful weekend! Hope you'll visit mine too...
What a lovely idea, and the little ones will really enjoy them I'm sure.
Excellent collection!! I love the whole concept.
My Show N Tell is Gone with the Wind this week!!! Hope you can stop by for a visit.
Your grandchildren will be blessed to share your love of tea with them.

What a great idea! We have "I'm a little teapot" at our house. My boys love it when mommy sings them that book!
The GIGI book caught my eye becasue that's what my grand-daughter's call me! I haven't done a tea party in years, my girls are all grown up! I'll have to do it with my darling grand-daughters!

Katherine,
I absolutely loved reading to my children. They are all grown now and I've no grandchildren yet but I dream of the day that I can read to them.
Your books are delightful! Thank you for sharing them with us.
They are all so sweet and I'd like to play with the Magnetic Dolls myself. Your grandchildren will adore having tea with you.
Maybe you should keep a scrap book.
Katherine, Your comment made me smail :o) HAS to be a teapot or teacup. Now I can't wait!!!!

tea parties are the greatest! my mom-in-law is always having tea parties with my girls...the books are cute!
What a neat tradition to share with your grandchildren! I didn't know there were so many children's tea books.
Those are so sweet!
How sweet. I know your grandchilden will love them too.
Those books look like fun! My daughter loves to play tea with her grammy!
Oh Katherine, I am sure your grand children will love your tea stories and learn a lot about tea parties! To be honest, I've never heart of children's book about tea... I don't know if they publish here here in Germany, too!
By the way, my winter gardening break is over and I am sharing some interesting outdoor photos on S&T today, I would love to welcome you on my blog if you have time!
Best wishes from Germany, Anita
Hi, Katherine. Nice little collection. My granddaughter always had her little brother at her tea parties. She would give him a name, make hair for him out of a pillow case or a receiving blanket, put tights on him, etc. He is a very normal boy now. He still likes a good tea party, though!
Nancy
I hope those grandbabies are close by so you can have many tea parties together.
Darling books, and I think the little ones will love their tea party. Linda
LOVE your Blog and your collection of Tea Party Books! Do you have "Miss Spider's Tea Party" by David Kirk? It's always been a favorite of ours and your grandson will LOVE all the spiders and bugs. :)
Do you happen to live near KSC? Email me ~ when you get a chance ~ we might be neighbors or at least in the same County. Well, most definitely in the same State. :)

I so enjoyed "browsing" your tea books. I happen to own a copy of a couple that you have. I also collect tea cups and teapots and found it quite humorous to read about your favorite (or not...*smile*) tea cup story, as I could have almost written it myself. :) I could really relate to the statement you made when you were given your first tea book and then the hunt was on for every tea treasure you could find. I also have at least one of the same tea cups as you. I am a BIG Royal Albert OCR admirer. I am slowly but surely building my full set of china in this particular pattern.
Blessings and thanks again!
Such sweet little books. I just bought the little teapot book in the middle right of your photo for my youngest granddaughter. She doesn't know it yet! Can't wait to share it (and a teaparty) with her.
Thank you for stopping by my blog again and for leaving your sweet comments. No, I have never published the story of the daffodils. Your inspiration might just give me courage to do that! I'll let you know if I do.

You have done a great job of finding children's tea books! Wow, and the babies aren't even two yet! LOL! Thanks for some great ideas!!!

Those are so cute! What a great idea to collect them so you can share them with your grand kids and teach them about tea time! I think I'll do that too!!!
Hugs, Sharon
A lovely collection of tea books. I am so glad you've found these. I love books of all kinds. I have saved all of the boys' books, but don't have any about tea.
Hope you are enjoying your weekend.
Blessings,
Mary
Thanks for sharing so many of your beautiful things. I think the most special is the stained glass window on the front door. Your dh is very sweet to do that for you!
