New Fall Decor

I haven't posted for a while, but wanted to share some of my fall decor with you. We live in Florida and last week we experienced hurricane, Irma, and are thankful we received no damage! Just five miles away at Flagler Beach, their homes were flooded with two-feet or more of water.

A hurricane is a traumatic experience. I decided for some therapy I would try to get inspired to do some fall decorating. Since the fall season is so long I decorate in segments to keep from getting tired of looking at it for three months! This year I'm using minimal decorations.

I'm starting with my scarecrow collection in September. The middle of October I will decorate with my cute Halloween decor. In November I will put out my Thanksgiving decor.
I bought a new scarecrow this year, first one in a long time. This is Annalee's 75th Anniversary and this cute little scarecrow won my heart! I found him at Tuesday Morning. He is displayed on top of our curio cabinet in the dining room, here:

I also used a lot of faux cotton from Hobby Lobby to my decor this year. I guess it's faux cotton, but it sure looks real. Here are some of the arrangements I made:

All of these are in the family room

Coffee table centerpiece also has a burlap rose.

On top of curio cabinet in family room:

I still love my velvet pumpkins and used them again as the centerpiece on the dining room table.
I'm displaying them in my new "tobacco basket" I found at Hobby Lobby.

A few more scarecrows. I have downsized with them, only keeping a few favorites.
Below is "Edison" - he is a handpainted light bulb!
Below is "Chip" - he is made from a small
block of wood ("Chip off the ole block!")
Scarecrow candy dish - I still have to buy
candy corn for his lap!

I painted this scarecrow a few years ago.
He is "Sunflower Sam!"

I redecorated our front Door Monogram for fall:

Here's the twig wall pocket decorated for fall, It was on the back door,
but I brought it in before the hurricane and hung it on the
hall tree mirror, then decided I liked it there!

Tiny scarecrow waving at ya!

Some of my pumpkins:
 Wire pumpkin
 Magnolia pumpkin

Ceramic pumpkin:

Slim, a skinny scarecrow is a favorite!
He is displayed in the dining room/hall area
below him is Patches, a Puffkins scarecrow:
Then two other small scarecrows:
The top one hanging is made from chenille, therefore
named "Chenille!" The bottom is "Clutch" who
falls down all the time!.
Wheelbarrow Wally, above is displayed on our antique railroad clock.

The tiny scarecrow below is riding a pumpkin on wheels:

He and Chip are displayed in the breakfast nook:
I love the silk Japanese lanterns!

More in chicken wire wrapped bottles:

 A few more decorations:

These are in our living room

Mercury glass pumpkin and flocked fall leaves:

I hope you enjoyed my fall decorations!

I used the poster board so you can see details better:
