Decor-a-Tea - Breakfast Nook, Family Room
I'll finish showing tea related items in the Great Room. This very large painting is in the breakfast nook. I have placemats that are similar to the scene above. I have the violets tea set displayed on the gateleg table. I usually have a small square lace doily on the table.
The bookshelf above is also in the breakfast nook, it holds my cookbooks (and is a little messy looking here!) The tea pot on the top shelf is a Sandy Clough. The one on the middle shelf is a tea for one.
I have two child sized tea sets in the curio cabinet (above) where my doll collection is displayed. This curio is in the family room.
This bookshelf, above, is also in the family room. The book end is by Mary Englebreit. I bought it several years ago, it was a ridiculous price ($30 for just one) but it was.....yellow!! It holds my tea books.
The tea caddy, above, was handpainted by a friend. It holds tea bags. The colors are brighter than it looks here. The caddy is on a small wall on the pantry (between the kitchen and family room) I think it shows up on the pantry photo in yesterday's post.
Next, I will show tea decor in the master bedroom, dining room, and living room. Please return! A cup of tea is waiting for you!

Katherine, I enjoyed seeing your tea cut and tea sets arrangements. I especially liked the tea bag holder. Unusual looking.
ok, how does 10-ish sound. If you give me a choice, I will pick Earl Gray, but you probably could convince me to try something new.
The tea caddy is darling. I have never seen anything like that.
I could sit and stare into that large painting in your breakfast nook over a cup of tea forever. I love that bookend, how wonderful. This post is so lovely, I totally enjoyed peeking through the tea collection in your home, big and small. Blessings, Karen
So charming! I really like your yellow teacup bookend. And I see another SLC lover!
Isn't it fun to see that everyone is drawn to a different one of your tea treasures. I like that about tea, everyone can have a favorite tea leaf, tea cup or tea decoration. The tea world is wide open. Personally, the bookend really took my eye this time.
Oh what fun! How great that you found that YELLOW book end! Marvelous. I'll be by at 2:00 for my cupa!
Katherine, I LOVE your bookend~absolutely adorable! And the tea caddy~ I've never seen such a charming tea caddy~ it's "to die for!"
Thank you for your sweet comment on my blog!
Have a lovely week!
Hi Katherine, I enjoyed seeing all your lovely tea items. Your doll collection is sweet and I especially like the miniature tea sets you have displayed with them. The tea caddy your friend made is the neatest..I've never seen anything so cute. Hugs, Linda
I love the bookends. What a great idea.

I always enjoy seeing your collection of tea cups and teapots. I especially like how the cabinet shelf is backlit to show them off well. You have quite a selection of tea, too! Thanks for sharing with us.
Hugs,
Lallee

Thanks for the comments Katherine. The figurine is from Boyd's Bears Dollstone Collection. And I spent several hours last evening trying to find one anywhere. Obviously, retired. I think it is precious, and would love to be able to give as gifts...but no luck.
I scrolled on through to the post below also and declare you a true tea aficionado! You have an awesome and vast collection!
What a beautiful doll collection.
Hi Katherine,
I was just looking at your tea things and you have so many. What a wonderful collection! And what a beautiful home. It's always fun to see what other women do to make a house a home. Yours is truly homey.
Cori
I especially liked the little tea bag caddy on the wall.
