Tour of Homes!

Welcome to BooMama's Tour of Homes! Go here for more beautiful homes!

Welcome! Do come in!
This is our front door, please come in, I have lots of things to share with you!
We have a courtyard next to our front door, this is what you'll see as you are entering our home.

I collect all kinds of Nativity sets. This little flower pot Nativity is outside in good weather.

I think the poinsettias are so pretty on the lacey iron settee (below.)

Door wreath inside

The inside of the front door has a wreath on it and a Santa. The wreath has tiny ornaments on it (they don't show up here.)

Carolers
Inside the foyer is this hall tree with carolers (white trimmed in gold)

I will be showing you some of my Nativity collection in each room of the house. I'll probably continue posting them all week too!

This sweet little baby Jesus is displayed in our living room.

The Nativity above is a framed Christmas card I sent several years ago. It is one of my favorites!

Another favorite! My husband brought this Fontanini Nativity to me from Italy. I display it on a cake plate with florals.

This Nativity is on top of a small doll curio in the living room. It is displayed in front of a small Gothic mirror.

Do you have a favorite? Maybe you should wait till I display all of them before you decide!

Now move into the dining room, there's tea and cookies there for you too!

This is the Nativity that is supposed to be on my blog banner. It isn't showing up on my computer. Is it showing up on yours? I tried to fix it, but can't. ??

I really couldn't pick a favorite Nativity. Each one is so unique. We use a Nativity that my husband received for attending Sunday School, one piece each year. We have a lot of pieces so he must have been a very good boy.

Katherine, I always love seeing pictures of your home, especially at Christmas. You have a beautiful home and a decorator's touch.

I really like the carolers you have in the front hall...so Victorian. ~smile~

Thanks for inviting me over! I truly enjoyed looking at every picture. I was amazed at the Yellow Santas! I had never seen those. I just loved all of the ideas, some which I must steal!
I have stopped blogging for awhile. I am needing the time at home, but I will come visit now and then...did you get Becky's blog? She is at knittyinthesouth

Very pretty photos of your home. I love all the poinsettias. I don't collect nativities and have been looking for just the right one for several years now. I finally found the one in the photo and am happy with it. Your collection is beautiful.

Katherine, your decor is quite lovely! It is still amazing to this Midwest girl that one can leave poinsettias OUTDOORS! They do look beautiful on your white settee!! :)
