Faith Sharing GroupTea Party

Photos of the tea party I hosted this past Monday. Above, my friend, Gail, posing prettily behind the centerpiece. As you can see I used my new Nativity set as the centerpiece. I also used my OCR Christmas plates on gold leaf chargers, OCR napkins, and deep red rose napkin rings. (Gail will turn 70 next Monday, doesn't she look great! ) Some of the food (above) cucumber sandwiches, pimento cheese sandwiches, and egg salad sandwiches. Desserts were: key lime pound cake, crescent cookies, benne wafers, short bread, and fruit cake. Raspberry scones and date bread with cream cheese sandwiches were served first during the meeting. English breakfast tea, Christmas tea, and White Christmas tea was served.

Some of my Faith Sharing Group (above) Gail, Joann, Phyllis, and Marianne (I'm in the red blouse.)

Thank you for your interest, please leave a comment! And please do return soon!

Your table looks beautiful. I'm sure your guests were delighted the moment they set down. And then the food--you really served such lovely things. I can imagine that your friends never wanted to leave. How could anyone not praise the Lord after your tea!

Now, about that key lime pound cake... My mouth is watering as I'm sitting here contemplating it. I do hope you'll share the recipe one day.

How lovely! I'm drooling over your dishes: I've loved Old Country Roses ever since I was a child and I can't get over it even though I have Blue Willow. :)

We bought the key lime pound cake at a bakery/cafe in Hilton Head, SC when we were there last week. They ship mail orders:
