I needa cuppa

It's 11:30 p.m. here and I'm ready to go to bed, but just wanted to say hey first! I'm so looking forward to tomorrow. There are no plans for tomorrow! I can stay home and have a cup of tea, stay in my pj's, or do whatever, which will probably be nothing! I'm ready for nothing!

Yesterday was busy, it started early when I went to our Faith Sharing Group at 9:30 a.m.
This afternoon I went for a stress test. I thought it would only take about 45 minutes, but no, this was a nuclear stress test!! I was there FOUR hours!! It wasn't an awful experience, but it wasn't pleasant either. Lots of fun stuff - such as fasting (that's starving for me!) then there's the needle IV in the top of my hand! Then there's the holding the left arm over your head for 20 minutes for the xray, (twice!) yuk, have you tried this?? Not to mention the stress test on the tread mill, or being stripped from the waist up for the electrodes to be placed! Ha! And freezing from the a/c being 68 degrees!! They said being cold was necessary for the machinery, germs, etc.! Yes, I need a day off, I need a long relaxing cup of tea!!

We didn't get home tonight until almost 6 p.m. and I had a Creative Memories workshop scheduled at 7! I laid down for 30 minutes, while my sweet hubby tidied up a bit. Being with the ladies was relaxing because they are sweet and soft-spoken. They stayed late so I guess they were enjoying it too! Scrapbooking is relaxing, and very therapeutic! How many of you scrapbook? That's probably what I'll do tomorrow - scrapbook! I'm trying to get caught up with the grandbabies albums, since their 2nd birthdays are coming up next month, I need to be current!

I won't have results of the all the tests I have been having until July 30th when I have an appointment with the cardiologist. My brother died of a heart attack at age 52, so my doctors keep a close watch on me!

I'm looking forward to reading all my favorite blogs tomorrow! See you then! Thanks for your comments!

Katherine
The little yellow rose tea cup above is my favorite tea cup, that I use when I have tea. I like it because it is small, and keeps the tea hot longer. It was given to me by my friend, Judy B!

I have had a stress test, but it wasn't as intense as what yours sounds!!
Yuk, I've had an IV in the top of my hand too, and it HURTS! So sorry you went through all that, but I hope you get good results!!
Your teacup is lovely. Enjoy your day of relaxation!!

I'm praying for good news on your stress test. Scrap booking with the gals sounds like so much fun. What a great way to connect!

Hi Katherine -
I've had the same stress test twice. I thought the first one would be the end of me! The second was improved because they had refined the way they do some things. It still wasn't the most fun I've ever had. Trust all will be well when you get the results.

I love that little yellow rose cup. My dear mother had a set of six. She bought them in Canada when I was in Junior High school. Not long ago she gave them to me! She thought they needed to live at my house. I need to have some ladies over for tea.

Wish I lived close enough to scrapbook with you. I cleaned out and reorganized all of my supplies last week. It's amazing what I have that I'd forgotten about. What I REALLY need to do is to sort and organize many years of lose photos so I can get going on my albums again.

Hi Katherine, Glad your stress test is over and now you can get some much deserved rest...or maybe scrapbooking in. I scrapbook too, but haven't had the time lately. I am so far behind! My husband is 42, and his dad had a heart attack in his late 40's, so they do a stress test on him every 4 years or so. The last was a nuclear test like yours. (He has other history of heart disease in his family, also!) Hope your tests results are good!

Enjoy your day, and your tea! :)
