I hope you are having a nice weekend. We are! This little monkey (above) is what we sent our little grandson, Caden, for Valentine's Day. The book below is a cute sock monkey book I found on sale. 
I hope you enjoyed seeing a few of the pages in the book! Do you like sock monkeys? Did you ever have one? My mother made them for my daughters when they were small. I wish I still had them.Thanks to all of you for voting on the centerpieces, looks like the cake plate vignette won! Tomorrow we are going to Orlando to visit our granddaughter, Elisabeth. I'll post pictures of the stuffed animal we're giving her tomorrow night.

I LOVE these sock monkeys...they're so adorable. And the last photo? So fitting....and just too darned cute.
What a cute monkey. I'm sure Caden will love him. The book is adorable. Makes me smile. My dear mother made a sock monkey when I was a little girl. He was different - made from a dark brown sock. He had a little vest and pillbox-style hat made from white fabric with little red hearts all over it. She used him in our Saturday morning Bible Club at church and I was the fortunate one. He got to go home with me and I got to love him and enjoy him. He sits in her office today and smiles at us. He still makes our hearts happy and brings smiles to our faces. He's old and flops into some of the silliest positions. We laugh even more. ~Adrienne~
What a cute stuffed monkey. I saw a lady featured in Country Woman who made monkeys like that then took pictures of them for greeting cards. I wonder if that is the same person. Thanks for sharing. How cute!
The little monkey you sent your grandson is so cute, and that looks like a great book too. I love children's books and believe we can't read to them too much.
