Today I received a fun package in the mail. A circle of my internet friends have agreed to do a Circle Journal. I received the journal today and I'm so excited about participating!Do you know what a Circle Journal is? I didn't. It is a notebook that is mailed to a circle of friends. Each person keeps the notebook about two weeks, and journals in it daily, telling fun and interesting (or even sad) things going on in your life. You can add jokes, stickers, quotes, poems, recipes, photos, newspaper clippings, anything you choose.
I enjoyed reading my friend's journal so much and I'm looking forward to journaling. I will pass it along to the next friend on the list. There will be eleven people participating. The notebook will make the rounds twice so everybody can read it.

What an interesting idea. That would be so fun to read. My family (parents, brothers and sisters) did a round robin letter one time. It sort of sounds like the same thing. Have a beautiful day. xo Rachel

I have participated in a circle journal for a couple of years and always enjoy it. I didn't do a very good job of writing in it last time but hopefully when it is my turn again, I'll do better. :0) The journal you just received is beautiful!

I love that idea! My friend Farrah has something similar she does with just one friend. They send the book back and forth. They make scrapbooky type pages updating each other one their lives.
I hadn't heard of a circle journal before. I'd enjoy reading the others' entries but I think I'd be terrible at writing my own. There is no backspace or delete when using a pen! :)
Sounds like a good way to get to know your online friends a little better.

I'm not lurking but just browsing. I loved seeing your decorations and the area you walk in reminds me of Naples, Florida where I visited to years ago.
I think the journal idea sounds interesting. I would like to participate in something like that.
