Cupcake Party

I was going to wait until tomorrow to show my cupcake dishes, but have decided to do it early!

I bought these cupcake plates last fall at Ross planning to give them as a gift. As you see, I kept them myself! I wouldn't have bought them for myself, but they were only $3.99 for all four! I bought the bigger one (with the brown cupcake paper above, center) for $2.99 last week at an outlet store. The cupcake (below) on the cake stand is a covered jar. It was also only $2.99.

Above: Chocolate frosting and blue cupcake paper.
Strawberry frosting and green cupcake paper.
Butter frosting, white cupcake paper.

Chocolate and vanilla frosting, yellow cupcake paper.

Notice the doily on the cake plate, it has four hearts on it. The faux cupcake above, center, was a gift from Lallee Lallee's Cottage

I hope you enjoyed seeing my pretend cupcake party. The reason there is no candy in the cups, and no real cupcakes, is because we are on a diet here!! :-(

Happy Valentine's Day to all my blogging friends, and to my family!

How darling! What a festive non-fattening table! But, yes, we could drink tea, couldn't we? If we promise to not add sugar or honey or milk?

Katherine, Thank you for the invitation to your cupcake party. It was wonderful and the decorations are great. I would have kept the dishes too, along with ALL my other dishes! I like the no calorie dessert. Just wish I could do that with ALL my food.
