Show and Tell - Yellow Rose Window

Time for Kelli's Show and Tell - http://www.kellishouse.blogspot.com/ I'm combining Show and Tell with a contest I'm in today. http://countingyourblessings.blogspot.com/ is having a contest with blogs showing yellow rose items. I collect yellow rose things and have so many I've been showing them since Monday. I invite you to see all my collection too.

My husband made the stained glass window shown above. It is in the guest bathroom in our home. He learned to do stained glass just so he could make this for me! I just love it!! Thanks, Sweetie!

I have always loved yellow roses. My prom corsage was yellow roses. My wedding bouquet was yellow roses. My husband brings me yellow roses often.

I became a yellow rose collector later in life, just couldn't resist most items with yellow roses. A lot of my collection are gifts from family and friends. When I started collecting tea cups, after I had so many I decided to only buy cups and saucers with yellow roses on them. I hope you enjoy my collection shown below. I have a few items in several rooms of the house, I have shown them grouped together in separate rooms.

What a masterpiece! Your stained glass is just gorgeous but so special because your hubby made it for you. My sweetheart has done that with other things - the love and thoughtfulness they put into their handmade gifts for us are worth more than words can express. I, too, and a lover of yellow roses. Yours are just fantastic! ~Adrienne~

How sweet that your husband not only made this for you, but learned how just so he could. It's gorgeous!! I enjoyed looking through your yellow rose collection. I have all boys, so the picture of the boy with the roses does something to my heart, too. I love roses, only I collect pink ones.

Holy cowmoly!! You have such a wonderful house full of roses. I LOVE the stained glass that your hubby made. Such a great story! Everyday has been beautiful. Your dinning room has a few items that I'd like to "borrow" =) and I've decided that I need to get a few more yellow roses in my house! Blessings... Polly

The yellow rose stained glass is beautiful and I fell in love with the photo of the little boy with the yellow roses. I had two little boys once (all grown up now) so I can very much relate to that adorable picture.

Okay, I counted my tea cups. I only have 49! That includes the yellow rose, the yellow depression, 12 monthly cups, 8 demi cups, 6 that I haven't shown, and a few OCR in a different style. It doesn't include the Old Country Roses cups and saucers in that set of china.

Thanks to all of you for your lovely comments on my yellow rose collection!
