A few of my old dolls are still in pretty good shape, but I really did play seriously with my dolls! On the top shelf, right side, (behind the little carriage) are little twin boy and girl dolls! On the top, left side, the tiny baby doll in blue wasn't mine, it's a little baby doll stuffed with styrofoam beads. I gave it to my mother a few years before she died. She loved dolls too.

I think it is wonderful that you have your dolls from childhood. They look like they have been well loved.
The memories you must have when you look at these precious dolls. Surely a wonderful treasure.
Take care,
Connie
Oh, what a lovely collection, you should always let the door of the cabinet open... ;-))) And how wonderful it is to have a special room for them!
Thanks for sharing and best wishes from Germany,

Definite treasures. You know, I didn't save any of my dolls from when I was little. Only my teddy bear and one of my Barbie dolls survived until now. I wish I had kept more. I LOVE your collection!

The one on the bottom left in the picture looks so familiar to me--do you know what kind of doll it is?

How beautiful your dolls are. Isn't it great to have something so special from your childhood?
Such pretty old dolls! Thank you for sharing.
So sweet
What lovely dolls! They are such loving remberances of childhood --- and I'm so happy you still have yours!
I still have some of my dolls as well --- but most have hair in pretty bad shape by now! One of them wears a wig of my own hair. My mother 'remade' the doll for me one year for Christmas when I'd lovingly worn out my dolly with too much care! Her hair was all worn off! Mom made her a new dress, a hair bow, and a wig from my last haircut (a real suprise when I opened that package!). She must be over 45 years old by now --- yikes!
