One of my favorite places to visit. The Jekyll Club Hotel was founded in 1886, the Club was once the grand retreat of America's wealthiest families, with such names as Rockefeller, Morgan, Pulitzer and Vanderbilt wintering here at the turn of the century. The Victorian clubhouse, with it's famed turret, and a collection of adjacent structures have been splendidly restored.http://www.jekyllclub.com/home.html
