Yep, that's $99.99 and of course they had it on sale for 50% off at one time. It was then on sale for 80% off. I picked it up to to get it for $20!
When my husband came in I was so excited to show my bargain to him. He took one look and saw the reason it was marked down so low. Can you see it? I didn't see it until he showed me.
I didn't care I wanted it anyway!! My husband said no, then he saw the manager and asked him about it, and the manager said we could have it for $10.00! Sold!
What would you have done, passed it up, or bought it?
I will be showing more of these two vignettes (above) on Marty's Table Top Tuesday this week.
I'm wondering if anybody else is blogging this close to Christmas!
If you're out there, please leave me a comment!

Katherine...I like your solution. The piece is gorgeous and I didn't notice the missing hand until you pointed it out. So gorgeous...I look forward to seeing the tabletop :)
Blessings!

I doubt anyone would notice the missing hand unless it was pointed out to them. Beautiful piece.
I would have bought it...Its a gorgeous piece and no one would notice.
Mama Bear
Didn't see it until you showed it. I wouldn't even try to hide it....Joseph is missing his staff...that would be an easy fix!! It is gorgeous. I found out yesterday that the nativity's with the donkey are called Flight to Egypt. Learn something new all the time!!
It is so pretty! I didn't notice the hand either. I do like the flower in front if the missing hand bothers you. Loving it in its imperfect state!
I didn't notice the missing hand until you pointed it out. You could tuck a small flower or piece of greenery in where her hand would be and the donkey would show up. Or, maybe you could add a little piece of soft cloth (tiny) to look like a piece of blanket. Or, you could leave it as it is.

Katherine, it is just stunning. I wouldn't do anything to cover it up. You didn't notice it at first and I doubt anyone else will either. I think it is stunning. I hope you and all your family have a very Blessed Christmas. Hugs, Marty
Beautiful piece...I didn't notice the missing hand, either. I wouldn't worry about it one little iota.
I did spot the missing hand, but only because you said to look for something wrong!
I just hot glued Joseph's hand back on in the outdoor Nativity. It didn't break, but the glue holding it must have dried up!
I am here, K, hope to do another scape this week. We go to my son's so, I don't have as much to do as many before Cmas. Still plenty busy though! When I take a break, I check what's new! :)
Wow you scored a great buy,,,,, and good on for your hubby too.... I would have done the same thing.... and I love how you fixed the problem looks so pretty....
Merry Christmas
Hugs;

Hi KK,
I would have bought it and even before I read Adriene suggestion I too, thought of a small, soft cloth. It would just look like she was swaddling the baby.
Great Deal!
I didn't notice the hand until you pointed it out. What a pretty piece and a $100 for $10 isn't bad even if it isn't perfect. But then, we aren't perfect either which is why that babe was born!
I had the same thing happen on beautiful angel music box. I glued a few very small poinssetas on it and one where the hand was. No one knows the difference, It just looked it belonged there
Isn't it amazing when that special something just speaks to you! Especially when it is a GREAT deal. It's beautiful!
Katherine -- a beautiful piece -- I would have purchased it too -- when something makes my heart sing like that I usually know it's right (even flawed) I didn't notice it until you painted it out -- perhaps a dab of flesh colored fingernail polish would make it less noticable. Last year my angel tree fell over and one of my angels lost her foot -- but she's still on my tree this year. I love your pretty figurine.
I think that you already have your answer.
I didn't notice that she was missing her hand until it was pointed out.
It is rather a timely reminder that we are all imperfect.
I say enjoy your precious find as is.
Honestly, I didn't notice the missing hand - everything is so beautiful about it! But the flower is very pretty...and it certainly fits for the scene!!
many blessings!

I love Lladro; I'd have bought it.
I'm just popping in to wish you a Blessed Christmas, my good blogging friend!
Several of my Simpich dolls have lost their hands...the little girl & the mom in the Cratchits, A Christmas Carol. I procrastinated sending them back to the Simpich store, and now they've gone out of business. I just love them the way that they are. Your grandson is going to be in heaven when he arrives for Christmas! So cool!. Thanks for sharing your wonderful vignettes and for stopping by my post. Cherry Kay
Hi Katherine, I'm blogging...finally posting on all three of my blogs yesterday and today!
I have the same sculpture of the Flight to Egypt! I hope to post on my FTE figurines on my nativity blog, but I have been busy and also lacking energy.
Good to see your holiday festive posts...Merry Christmas!
