I know most of you have seen these clear cut-glass plates at Dollar Tree, I saw them several times before I decided to buy them. They kept beckoning to me, but I didn't want to get them, store them, etc. Finally I gave in since they were only six dollars for all the cups and six dollars for the plates! I already had the clear salad plates. I love anything antique or Victorian looking!
I couldn't decide which color table cloth with the clear plates, I purposely didn't use chargers or placemats because I wanted the design and color to show through. I decided to use an ecru table cover and the wedding lace tablecloth on top. I love this vintage look tablecloth.
These little bottle vases were at Target for $3.99 for four. I first bought them to give our little grandkids to put little flowers in for their mothers, then I had the idea to use them at each place setting in tablescapes, so I went back and bought more.
The centerpiece is a pretty little skirt vase of a little Victorian lady.
The cloche came from Tuesday Morning, on sale for $13, I like the etching on it, kinda matches the tablecloth.
Napkin "rings":
The napkins "rings" are actually barrettes! When I saw these barrettes at an outlet store, and they were only $1.50 each, I bought them. I don't have long hair and can't wear them, but I knew what I would use them for!Below: back of barrette:
The one below is a Victorian look clip!
The barrette below has a cameo on it:
The serving dishes are crystal cut-glass. This pretty little vintage fan-shaped dish was a gift from a friend.
I just realized I forgot to put out the flatware before I took the pictures! We had a bad thunderstorm and the power was off over an hour, so I didn't take the time to do them all over again!
Can you see the vase of roses on the back of the lady?
I had so much fun putting this tablescape together!
It was very inexpensive, yet elegant looking!

A very lovely and elegant tablescape. Love the red roses and the crystal and the ecru tablecloth. Love the little vases with the flowers -- one for each setting. Such a nice touch.
My goodness! Your tablescape is like opening a beautiful jewelry box filled with sparkling diamonds and rubies! All the crystal on white and the then the red touches, such a pretty combination, I love it! It is so different, and I love how you think outside the box all the time!
Sometimes no matter how beautiful the china is in table settings it can become 'hum-drum', but not here!
I love the idea of the barrettes too!
I would be so happy to be seated at this beautiful table!
Wonderful job!
All the best,
Eileen

Just beautiful. I am always partial to the softer side of china and colors, so this speaks to me! I saw those darling plates and cups, too, but didn't buy them, and I'll bet they're gone now! I do have others, though, so when I do a tablescape with them, I'll try to not copy you too much! Blessings!
