Tablescape Thursday

I have a 4th of July tablescape to share with you this week. Go here to Susan's for more beautiful tablescapes!

I found these firecracker plates at TJ Maxx,
I thought they would be cute for our July 4th celebration.

There is only three different patterns on the plates, I wish there were four!
The one above has a red, white and blue polka dot firecracker

This one has red and blue stars on the firecracker

This one has red, white and blue stripes
I used another one with stars for the fourth place setting.

4th of July tablescape with firecrackers and stars!

The centerpiece is made with two Uncle Sam men made from dowels
and other patriotic items:

I bought the napkins and the glasses at Dollar Tree

Wooden stars are at one end of the table

with these wooden items below:

Red, white and blue faux firecrackers below are made from wooden dowels:

The back of the centerpiece (above)

I think these little guys are so cute!
Take a closer look:

They look alike, but have different neckties and clothes

I hope you enjoyed seeing my 4th of July tablescape!
Have a Happy 4th of July holiday!
God Bless you!

And God Bless America!

Katherine

I love it. I was thinking of going out to see what the stores had on sale in the way of 4th decorations. I've not been to Dollar Tree in a while.
I'm a little concerned about neighborhood fireworks since it has been so dry. I don't think it would take much to set the grass on fire. Often we find the remains of fireworks in our yard after a holiday. Even when it is illegal, they still do it. What are parents teaching their children?

Katherine,
I love your patriotic tablescape. I love how even many of us did a patriotic table that each is different & unique. I love, love, love the firecracker plates. And I too hate it when they only make 3 different styles when 4 would be better. Thanks for visiting my blog & leaving me a comment. It really means a lot to me that you took the time.

Katherine, thank you so much for letting me know about you participating in the cloche party. I just visited your post and all three of your cloches are just stunning. It was such a fun party and I was so excited to have it, then I had some surgery and in between the pain pills I was trying to make the rounds and see them all and comment. I'm still recouperating. I try to visit as many everyday as I can, but it seems the medication just puts me to sleep. I did quite a few posts in advance, trying to stay up, but getting around to seeing what everyone has done has been a little difficult. Again, you are so sweet to check on me. What a blessing that is for me. I really do appreciate it and boy am I ready to get back to normal and be able to visit everyone. It seems like I'm missing half of my family. lol. Get ready for Sept. We should have another great party and be able to see a lot of fall decorations and inspiration. I can't wait to see your new cloche. Thanks again. Hugs, Marty

I just read your peach post and I would love the recipe for the peach muffins with the jam in the center. It sounds so good and I think my family would love it. I always make peach cobbler, but I havn't ever made it with splenda, does it taste sweet. I use honey sometimes. Using the crescent rolls for the crust is another wonderful idea. I should be back to cooking in a few days and I am really ready and hungry for some good yummy food. Hugs, Marty

Happy 4th of July, dear Katherine:-) I wish I could be crossing the border today to go celebrate with you!! Such a gorgeous table setting for this holiday, I just love the way you set everything up. Everything is just darling and perfect!!!

Thank you so much for the email with the pictures of when Niagara Falls froze over...I had seen them before but they still amaze me! lol I'm so sorry for not getting back to you sooner than this, I haven't spent much time visiting anyone the last few days, just been busy doing other things.

Your peach desserts all look absolutely delicious!! Would you be able to email me all the recipes? Just whenever you have time:-)

Have a wonderful day, my friend. xoxo

I came back by to mention that I am hosting a Christmas in July Tablescape Party at my Playing Dishes blog. There will be one held each Saturday this month. Please come and participate or at least visit. A holiday tablecloth will be given away on the last Saturday, July 25. Info on signups is available by clicking my sidebar memes available on both my blogs.

I am also having a weekly Christmas giveaway at my Christmas Memories in My Heart blog. Weekly entries are closed out a midnight on Wednesday for this.

Hopefully some of you tablescape regulars will pull together a tablescape for CIJ or pull out some photos from last year to post.

Happy CIJ!
