Sailing

We went away for the weekend. I wish I could say we spent the weekend sailing, but that isn't so! We drove up to Georgia to spend the weekend with Joe's sister. She has stage 4 ovarian cancer and her husband has been in the hospital about ten days. We feel so helpless to do anything, but we pray for them and with them! Their names are Angela and Bill if you would like to lift them up in prayer as well.

Some of you know I collect Madame Alexander 8" dolls. I don't often buy them anymore, but when I saw this one at Tuesday Morning a few months ago, I bought her, mostly because she is so different from my other MA dolls!

She doesn't have a name and I've been trying to come up with one for her. Any suggestions? (Someone suggested Sally, but it can't be Sally!)

She looks cute displayed with this sailboat.

This picture was taken on our back porch. The weather is getting nice enough to spend time outside on the porch. We eat out there and I love sitting in the swing reading.

Did you notice my new banner? My sweet friend, Janet, made it for me! I love it! Thanks so much, Janet!!

Have a happy day!
God Bless.

Hi Katherine,
She is such a sweet doll. She looks like a "Star" and has stars on her dress. I know you'll come up with something cute.
How is his sister doing?

Ooo...I like "Star", too. She is a lovely doll and yes, she looks great with the sailboat.

Your new header is gorgeous!!! Those roses are exquisite! What a wonderful friend you have...

Blessings...
Jane (artfully graced)

I don't collect dolls but I have always thought the MA's were the sweetest. This one looks darling displayed with the sailboat.

Your banner looks fabulous!!!! Perfect.

Your doll is adorable and she reminds me of an old Irish song 'Female Sailor Bold' and the name of the female sailor in that song was Jane Thornton. Jane's a sort of plain name, but I like it.

I'm really sorry to hear about your family members and I will add Angela and Bill to my prayer list. God Bless them and you too.
All the best,
Eileen
