Show and Tell

Time for Show and Tell, go here to Kelli's for lots more sharing!

Today I'm sharing a few of my Tea For One sets. These little tea pots sit on top of the cup. They are three pieces, the pot, the lid, and the cup. This one I bought in Branson, MO, I like the outdoor cafe scene on it. Below is the back of the set. I guess if you are left-handed, it is the front of the set!

I bought the tea for one set below because it has yellow roses on it!

Close-up of yellow roses

To tell the truth I don't really like to drink tea from these because the cups are so large and the tea cools off too fast, so they are just decorative. I prefer very small cups because the tea stays hot longer in them.

I bought this set because it is so pretty. It isn't practical though because the cup has three
little feet and the cup isn't steady. I have had these on top of the kitchen cabinets, but took them down Christmas and put others up there. These are displayed in the breakfast nook now.

Many blessings to you and your family this year!!

Katherine

Hi, there is a TJ Max about 45 min away, not sure about Marshall's. I have not driven in 3 years, until Hubby ran out of gas Monday, and I could not get my daughter, lives next to me, awake. Her keys were in her F. Exployer, now I never driven one, but I use to drive the 40 foot motor home. I took out and got hubby, in all went 10 miles. Doc says try and but only 15 min. at a time. Living way out in the country, city is 45 min. and is not fun shopping with Hubby anymore! He always says you don't need that. Especially when its dishes! After we took leave of abense from work, he saw all my collections, I had bought while traveling. When I went to Cracker Barrel, he left me in the store, and went to Bass Pro, I had a blast! I went in for 2 plates and came out with 3 loaded bags and 2 boxes. lol All my friends live in the city.

Did your lovely teapot come from one of those store's? I just may have to take a trip if so! lol I enjoyed being my old self, can't tell you what it felt like to just drive again. I not a person who loves to stay home at months on end. Sometimes I do not know how I have. I got a taste of freedom!lol in that 10 miles.

I have a few of those and like you, I've never used them. I prefer my tea out of a mug like the one from Disney World. I want a lot of tea to go so i don't have to go back again. But I love going to the tea rooms where you get your very own pot.
I like the middle pot best.
