Pillow Talk

While we were in Knoxville recently I bought this pillow at Kirkland's. It is now in our family room. I would like to show you a few more of pillows in our house, but first I want to show you our two-year-old grandson, Caden's, new "big boy bed" and his monogrammed pillow. How cute is that!

And below, is Caden's parents bed with their monogrammed pillows! Very pretty!

The pillows below are on the bed in our guest room.

This pillow is made from a vintage towel and stuffed with lavender, it smells heavenly!

I mentioned my "Grits" pillow recently, Grits is "Girls Raised In The South."

The pillow below is made from an old quilt, with a doiley sewed on top.

Pillow below has an embroidered tea towel sewn on top.

Below is an embroidered and smocked baby pillow cover.

The yellow heart is made from chenille, the pillow on the left is the back of the "Grits" pillow.

This tapestry look pillow, below is made from a table runner. I just wrapped it around a small travel pillow and sewed the ends together.

I hope you enjoyed seeing some of the pillows in our house.

Many blessings!!

Katherine

Hi Katherine and it's so nice to meet you! Oh, I loved looking at your pillows! Did you make many of them. Now the GRITS one is adorable.
What a cute big boy bed for your little grandson and I do like the side rails - just in case he should tumble out!
Thanks for the visit and I hope you'll come back to see me again.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

A girl after my own heart. I LOVE pillows. My husband thinks I have a sickness. I don't care what he calls it as long as he allows me to collect them.

Your grandsons bed is adorable. I keep seeing these monogrammed pillows around. I just love them.

It is hard to believe Caden is already in a big bed. He sure has a lovely one to make the transition. I love your new initial pillow, and I enjoyed seeing all the others. I especially like the smock embroidered pillow.

Wow, gorgeous pillows, Katherine. Love them all. Love the idea of making a runner into a pillow. So great that Caden now is in a big boy's bed.

I enjoyed seeing these pillows and garnering ideas for decorating. I liked the doily, ribboned bow with button and the tapestry ones. I think I'll look into making some of them.
Thanks for sharing,

The pillows are pretty. Can't believe it is just some of them. I enjoyed looking at all your pretty pictures on your blog as I haven't visited for a while. The restaurant you went to for your anniversary sounds very nice.
