I always look forward to Kelli's Show and Tell on Friday's.
http://www.kellishouse.blogspot.com/ I stay up late to post mine. I have met so many nice people through the weekly postings. Today I'm sharing some of my collection of depression glass. Below is a depression plate. The candlestick is not depression, but it's yellow! The candy jar is carnival glass!
I like all depression glass because it is so dainty, but yellow is the only color I collect, because yellow is my favorite color! The yellow depression glass is a little harder to find too, making it more of a challenge. I haven't added to my collection in a while. Maybe it's time to go hunting again!
Below is a picture of where I usually display my depression glass collection. It is on a yellow tea cart in the dining room. The tea cart has yellow roses painted on it. Someday I will feature it on Show and Tell.
To me my computer and blogging is good therapy, it is relaxing no matter what time of day or night!

I love depression glass! I collect the green, which is more common than the yellow.

Very pretty. I used to have some green and pink, but through several moves it was broken. Sigh. It had been my grandmother's and how I wish I had it now.
It is all beautiful!
Love the yellow depression glass. So true, I usually see pink or green. Love the tea cups on the tiered holder.
I love this kind of glass. You have is displayed so nicely. My most favorite thing to do is go to the antique mall and check out all the pretty glassware.
Take care,
Connie

How beautiful! Depression glass is so gorgeous. I would love to see the tea cart some day.
It's very lovely, and your photos are quite artistically done too. I think I may have some of that yellow depression glass and didn't know it. Four little custard cups that were my grandmothers. They are the same shade as the pieces in your last photo. I wonder??
What a beautiful collection!
I agree with you--I look forward to Kelli's Show and Tell too--such lovely blogs:)

At a shop where I use to work, we sold replica depression glass. And my lived through the actual era, and remembers receiving a free plate or a bowl at the movie theaters during the 30's!
