Tablescape Thursday

I had planned to do a new tablescape using my Dollar Tree "Crystal" but couldn't find the red tablecloth I was going to use with it. How can you lose a RED tablecloth?? I had recently organized my linen closet and it isn't there, I have looked everywhere for it! I know I had one because here's a photo of it used last year in a tablescape!
See? It's beautiful, with tiny cutout hearts on the border. Anyway, my table is still bare, so I've re-posting a tablescape I did two years ago on Feb. 3, 2010, using the Dollar Tree "crystal."

Thanks to Susan for hosting Tablescape Thursday for us to look forward to weekly. Click here for lots more inspiration!

I'm sharing a Valentine Tea Party tablescape. I'm using my Dollar Tree "crystal" dishes.

I already had these vintage look Valentines and used those as place cards.

A red heart shaped doily is placed under a clear salad plate.

Red napkins were folded to look similar to hearts.

The flatware is tucked into the napkins

The Centerpiece:
I call this a wild hearts centerpiece,
puffy glitter hearts, roses and faux floral red grass in a crystal vase
a wire garland of mini hearts surrounds the vase.

View from the top:

A Valentine with two red mesh heart shaped boxes,
and two small white doves.

Each place setting had a different vintage Valentine place card.

Which is your favorite? You may take that seat!

The white sheer tablecloth was purchased at Ross several years ago. It has a beautiful embroidered design on it. I call it bridal veil fabric!

I hope you like my red and white Valentine Tea Party tablescape!

Happy Valentine's Day!
God Bless.

Show and Tell - Valentine Decor

Time for Kelli's Show and Tell, go here for more inspiration.

I saved my favorite Valentine decoration for last. I bought this large heart shaped ornament at TJ Maxx after Christmas for about $8. The "heart is 9 inches long, and 13 inches long with the beads included.
When I bought the large ornament I knew exactly where I would hang it - in front of the mirror on the hall tree in the foyer.

It was hard to hang up and I'm so afraid it would fall and break! I have it wired, then I taped electrical tape over the wire!
This shot above show more of the design on the ornament.

I actually did my show and tell last night when I shared my mother's baskets that I decorated with cherubs and lace. Go to the next post to see it!
I hope you have enjoyed seeing my Valentine decor.

I wish you a very Happy Valentine's Day - with lots of chocolate!

My husband is feeling better and we are hoping to go away for the weekend.

The Greatest Love

For God so loved the world that
He gave his only begotten son

That whosoever believes in Him
Should not perish,
But have eternal life.
John 3:16

February is known for being heart month, and Valentine's Day for Love.

The greatest love of all is when Jesus died on the cross to save us all!

Thank you, Lord Jesus for your greatest gift!
