Happy Halloween!

Halloween is only a few days away and I have a little Halloween tablescape on our breakfast nook table. I'm joining Susan at BNOTP for Tablescape Thursday! Thanks, Susan, for hosting weekly! Click on her name for lots more inspiration.

Inspiration for this tablescape is this cute witch's hat:
We found this ceramic hat/server on sale at Cracker Barrel last year after Halloween. The original price was $20, but it was on sale for about $7.99 and we scooped it up, although I don't usually buy Halloween things. I had forgotten we had bought it and was surprised when I found it stored in the Halloween box! I guess it is a chip and dip server. The pointed hat removes for serving goodies inside.
What would you serve inside?

Goodies may also be served inside the witch's boot:
I bought it several years ago at Hobby Lobby. I love the little dangling candy corn on the toe!
The polka dot black cat also came from Hobby Lobby several years ago. He has a cute little Jack-o-lantern dangling on his neck!
The three make a cute centerpiece, don't you think?

I have several colors of these polka dot dessert plates, but only using the green and yellow here.
I found the polka dot plates at TJ Maxx, and/or Marshall's, and/or Home Goods.

View from the top:
Have you noticed anything missing?? I took a bunch of pictures, before I realized I didn't have
glasses on the table! Have you ever done that before? I have, and I have also forgotten to add the flatware, or the napkins! LOL!

I quickly added some glasses, then took a few more pictures!

I only have three of these yellow polka dot dishes, I looked everywhere to find more, but couldn't. If anybody has one, or more of them you would like to sell, please let me know!! Thank you!

I've also looked on Ebay, but couldn't find them :-(

I hope you enjoyed my little Halloween tablescape!

Happy Halloween!

Thursday

Tablescape Thursday

I'm very late for Susan's Tablescape Thursday! I have a good excuse though! We went to Disney World Wednesday (had free tickets) and I was too tired last night, and too sore, etc. today from all the walking at DW! I'm still going to post even though there's over 150 people already! I hope there will be a few viewers who will visit me tonight! I'm also joining Laurie's Valentine Party! Click on her name for more fun!

The tablecloth below was the inspiration for this Valentine's Day tablescape. I bought it a couple of months ago for $7.88 at TJ Maxx.

I'm using the square polka dot plates I bought at Home Goods last year.
The heart shaped ramekins are from Target, last year.

I'm using the white square dinner plates for chargers. They are from Walmart and were only $3.96 each.
Red velvet roses in a white vase with red dotted fabric makes a nice centerpiece. (The reason I used the fabric is because this white vase is trimmed with a yellow band!)

This pretty polka dot bowl with floral bouquets inside was only $3.99 at TJ Maxx. I think the floral looks so good with the polka dots!

A very simple, but sweet Valentine's Day tablescape!

How about a hot and spicy treat!

I don't use much red in our house because I have so much wine/berry painted walls.
The flatware is from Ross a year or so ago. It has clear acrylic handles and goes with so many colors.

The tablecloth has a border of little heart cutouts .

It is layered over a white Battenburg lace tablecloth.

Thanks to Susan for hosting Tablescape Thursday! Click on her name for more inspiration.
Thanks to Laurie at Bargain Hunting for hosting the Valentine's Party!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Monday

Table Top Tuesday

Thanks to Marty for hosting Table Top Tuesday! Click here for lots more neat inspiration. Today I'm sharing a recent vignette I did on top of the white gateleg table in our breakfast nook.

Inspiration for this vignette came from this cup and saucer caddy I found at half-price at Hobby Lobby while on vacation last week.
I'm displaying the little black and white polka dot tea cups I found at Hobby Lobby this past year.
The polka dot tea pot and the dotted rooster came from Home Goods this past year.
The tiny rooster below came from Hobby Lobby:

I added the polka dot napkin in the center
With a white candle and candlestick on top

You'll see more of these roosters at the Rooster Party next week!

Are you wondering about the large painting above the table?
Here it is! It's a biggie, about 4 feet x 5 1/2 feet

This painting was free, my husband inherited it. I like it because of the tea time scene.

I hope you enjoyed my breakfast nook table top!

Thanks to all of you for your sweet well wishes to me this past week! Tomorrow is the last day to take the antibiotic, I've had to deal with the awful side affects since it is the only one to kill this particular bacteria :-(

Have a happy day!

God's Blessings.

Katherine

Let's have tea together!
