While captured inside a few weeks ago recuperating in bed, the picture below shows the view I had from the bed - looking straight ahead at the TV armoire and the vignette on top of it.
My childhood doll is probably the centerpiece of this vignette:
I had her restored two years ago and she looks good as new! She had been in six pieces!! I featured her on my blog a while ago, maybe I'll do an encore of the before and after on that post sometime soon.Left side of armoire top:
Right side of armoire top:
L to R: Framed silhouette picture, doll, hat box with angel on top, crystal clock, iron bird cage, and black candlestick with initial candle.
L to R: I bought the framed silhouette on vacation last year. The little angel was my daughter's. I've had the bird cage so long I've forgotten where it came from. The candlestick and candle are both from Hobby Lobby!
Thanks to Marty for hosting Table Top Tuesday so we can share our vignettes! Click on her name for lots more inspiration.
I hope you enjoyed the view from our bed in the master bedroom!

Aw, isn't she adorable! I'm here from Marty's party. Glad I stopped by. I'm your newest follower.

Katherine, she is so pretty! How wonderful that you restored her to her former beauty.
We're getting some rain (finally) today, and I've been in all day. I'm going to St. Augustine tomorrow to clean and get ready for some company. If you get down that way, give me a shout! I'd love to go to lunch or go have a cupcake with you.
I'm back and forth, but when I'm there, I'm usually at home. I love being there.
XO,
Sheila :-)
Your doll is adorable and so sweet!
How nice you were able to have her restored. What a treasure! Are you feeling better?
Hope you're feeling better...its been wet and dreary here this week but when one is not feeling tip top, maybe thats the kind of weather one needs....My Daddy had a saying: My get-up-and-go, got up and went.

Hi Katherine,
Your doll looks so pretty! You obviously did a great job restoring her. I like the objects you've used in your vignette -- nice variety of shapes, colors, and textures.
Hope you have an enjoyable week.
Warmest regards,
Bill
