Inspiration for this tablescape came from this little glass shoe my sister gave me back in June when we visited her. I'm naming this tablescape "If The Shoe Fits."
I made lace covers to use over large paper napkins.

I bought this mosaic shoe at Ross for $1.99 several years ago. It is usually on our lanai.Displayed on a pretty mirror from Home Goods.
Another inspiration came from these new bronze colored chargers from Hobby Lobby.
I bought these from Hobby Lobby last week for only $1.99 each! I hadn't seen the new design before and like it a lot.
The cream colored flatware is from Home Goods,
as well as the tea cups and saucers. The plates are from Dollar Tree

Which is your favorite shoe?
Choose your favorite and take your places, you are invited to my tea party, if the shoe fits!
My favorite,
Have a happy day!
God Bless.

Oh ho fun! Those old fashioned shoes look so elegant with the lace. I'm sure that NONE of them would "fit" my foot - but ANY of them would be delightful at my place setting. Your tablecloth and new charger plates are so petty! Thanks for inviting me to be a guest at your table this week.
Oh Katherine, your little shoes are all just gorgeous. I absolutely love them. What a fabulous idea to put a different one on each plate. So pretty. The linens are beautiful and your new chargers are fabulous. Beautiful tablescape. Hugs, Marty
What a beautiful table! I love how you incorporated the shoes into the tablescape. Very lovely.
That is my favorite, too. I really like the one in the center. I like the lace.
I was President of my club the year before we moved to Memphis and couldn't finish my 2 year term...Our current president is going to start her term as State President in 2011 so she is giving resigning a year early as I had to do...I guess I will do it since the vote was unanimous.
I am enjoying the Scrapbooking...It is a lot of work. I wish we had a Archivers here.
Be sure and share your pages.

Katherine, what a pretty table with all the little shoes...they are fabulous, especially the one in the centerpiece...you are so creative.
Brilliant! Using the shoes as napkin rings is brilliant. Your whole concept is "outside of the box" brilliant. Jackie
Kathrine,
What a beautiful way to use your shoe collection! The cutwork lace tablecloth and napkins continues the feminie theme.
The ivory handled flatware is so feminine and pretty.

Your table is so charming. I was happy to see your collection of shoes. My aunt owned a shoe store in Hot Springs, ARK. and had her collection of shoes displayed in the front store windows with their regular shoe merchandise. How lovely to have a sister to give you a special gift for your collection.
What a gorgeous table! And a fun way to feature the beautiful shoes. I have a yellow glass shoe just like your green glass shoe! Love the idea of the lace napkin covers - think I might 'borrow' that idea in the future.

So gorgeous shoes, they make the setting a very special one!
Hi Katherine! Oh, I love your sweet romantic table!! The little shoes are so pretty and I think my favorite is the blue and white one, too! The lace and dishes are just perfect! Wish I could come over.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Katherine, these little shoes are delightful...the one with the French scene on it matches some little plates that I have. You can see them here:

My Irish mother was very superstitious so she would never have been comfortable with putting shoes on the table. We weren't even allowed to set a shopping bag with new shoes in it onto the table...bad luck! I immediately thought of her when I saw your shoes. LOL
fondly,
Rett
p.s. I have a tiny little ceramic shoe that was Mom's...has little pink roses on it. Must take a picture now that you've reminded me.
Thanks!
Pretty table and cute title for the vignette!
What a creative idea to use the shoes, Love everything about your gorgeous table settings.
