Tabletops Tuesday

Another fun day with decorating ideas! Thanks to Barb for hosting Tabletops Tuesday, go here for lots of inspiration.

Before I share my tabletop display I would like to invite you to my Fourth Blogaversary and Give-away! Go here to see the give-away and to put your name in the hat!

I'm sharing the end table in our family room for today's tabletop. I recently went to Home Goods and found this plate, it was originally $29.99, but on sale for $5.
The plate had some nicks on the edge of the plate that showed up white. I touched them up with a black Sharpie pen and and Voila! they don't show at all!

I've had the clock a few years, probably is from Hobby Lobby, as the little bird is. The voltive holder is from Dollar Tree.

We bought the lamp at Lowes about nine years ago.

It sits on a couple of books for height.
The two pipes belonged to my grandfather (husband to my grandmother shown in the pictures in last week's Tablescape, here.)

I made the window treatment by swagging some old curtain panels and tying knots in them.

I hope you like the tabletop on the end table beside the sofa in our family room.
Don't forget to visit my Blogaversary and join in to win the Give-away. Click here.

Have a happy day!
God Bless.

What a wonderful vignette, I love that plate, what a great buy you made. Don't you love the Dollar Tree..it's amazing when you incorporate things from there how great they look! I love to go there once a month and find things I can use in new ways! I love your corner and vignette!

Love your tablescape! That clock is wonderful and I think the plate is perfect with everything else on the table. You have such a neat touch with your decor. When are you going to come this way and help me out? I have tables that need 'scaping'! ~Adrienne~

I always enjoy your displays. My grandfather also had several pipes and I do wish I had saved them.

Your tabletop is perfect. Looks like it could be at my house! I don't know, I struggle with endtables. I never know if it is enough or too much!

Katherine, I love this tabletop! I especially love the pipes sitting on the books. Something about it gives me such a feeling of nostalgia.

Everything looks perfect together!

Thank you for your sweet comment to me. I haven't been blogging much at all, a little bit on my personal blog, but I've been neglecting 'Stick Close To Home' and my prayer blog! I'm actually going to be taking a break from all blogging for most of the month of February, I'm going to try and purge this home of ours and get organized! My grandson's toys have overtaken the house! I thought I was well done with all that, but it's 'here we go again'!
Maybe once I get things organized and simplified it will be a little easier to keep on top of things.

Thanks again for all your kind comments. I so appreciate it!
All the best to you,
Eileen

This is a very pretty table. And I love that you used your father in laws pipes. My husband's grandfather smoked pipes and we have his in his old pipe box. What sweet reminders of days gone by.
