Frenchy Vignette

I've been working on my Valentine vignettes, but didn't finish so wasn't going to join in the Tabletop Tuesday this time, then I remembered it's Marty's 100th post party, so I quickly took some pictures of a vignette I haven't shown yet. It isn't a Valentine vignette, I hope to have those next week! This pretty "Emilie" plate was found at Home Goods. The fleur de lis clock from Hobby Lobby, and the keys from T.J. Maxx.

Table Top Tuesday

Today I'm sharing a new vignette I did on top of my computer armoire. I forgot to take a picture of the before, some of you may remember it, but I haven't shown it much.

Actually I changed only the right side, the cupid on the left stays almost the same.
I took away a large metal birdcase filled with roses.

A while ago when Hobby Lobby was having their 80% off sale, I purchased the large plate and square box, for a great price - 80% off! (I've forgotten the exact prices. The prices are on the back of the plate and bottom of the box, but I'm not climbing up there again to see!!)

I've had the clocks, you've seen them many times in different
vignettes, I love working with them!

Here's a closeup of the cherub, it is adorable with a little bird sitting on his leg!

A pretty table runner is draped across the corner of the top of the armoire.

Since I had the step stool out to take pictures, I went ahead and added some fall decor.

All the fall colors tied in well, I was afraid it would be too busy, but I like it,

do you?

I hope so!

I think the little cherub likes it!

Festive for the fall season!

Some day I'm going to clean up my computer area inside and show you what it's like. My husband designed and ordered the armoire. He calls it my "Mission Control!" In addition to the computer, there's a small TV and telephone, so I can sit for hours, if I want to! LOL! Usually my back doesn't allow it though!

I hope you enjoyed seeing my "tabletop" on top of the computer armoire!

Tablescape Thursday

Time for our Tablescape Thursday fun day! Thanks for Susan for hosting so we can enjoy playing with our dishes! Go here for lots more inspiration!
Today's tablescape theme is Time for Tea! The inspiration for this tablescape started with these pretty chargers. I bought these chargers at Ross last Christmas for $1.99 each.

I really like the rich mahogany color with the golden roses embossed around the edges.
I shopped the house to find something for the centerpiece. These clocks came from Hobby Lobby, the small one I just found yesterday at 80% off!

I have a real weakness for the cute clocks available these days and sometimes give in when they are marked way down on sale!

I used the pretty butterscotch yellow plates and cups from T.J. Maxx
and the yellow handled flatware my husband bought for me:

This pretty scarf and

deep red roses complete the centerpiece.

Time for Tea tablescape:

The tablecloth is tone on tone yellow with a large check design. I have been looking for a yellow tablecloth and found this one last fall. This is the first time I've used it.

I used two napkins, a yellow and a burgundy doubled.

Faux dried roses are used as napkin rings. I use these roses in a bouquet in our master bedroom, and didn't want to cut them apart.

This tablescape matches the walls in our dining room very well

Tabletop Tuesday

Tabletop Tuesday! Marty at A Stroll Thru Life hosts this fun day for us so we can play with our accessories to create vignettes in our homes and share them with our blog buddies. Go here for lots more inspiration.

Today I'm showing a vignette I did before I put up my Easter decorations (and changed it!) One of the items in this vignette is now in the process of transformation. I'll share the transformation soon.
This vignette is on the end table in our formal living room. I used two clocks from my clock collection as inspiration for this vignette. I have a weakness for unusual clocks and usually buy them if they are very inexpensive, which these were at Hobby Lobby!

Some of you may remember the tablescape I did a while ago using these clocks
as a centerpiece, go here to see it.
Two vintage books tied with ribbon complete the vignette.
The little girl bust also came from Hobby Lobby.

Tabletops Tuesday

I don't want to miss Barb's Tabletop Tuesday, it's one of my favorite days! Go here for lots more tabletop inspiration!

Today I'm sharing the top of one of my curio cabinets. This cabinet is in the dining room.

On the right end of the curio top is a picture of my husband's mother, Marian. She died before I met her. I think she is so pretty!
Beside the picture is a glass letter "A" (from Hobby Lobby a few months ago.) The clock was purchased at Ross (I think) several years ago.

The left side of the curio top has a decorative plate purchased recently at Home Goods for $2.99! I bought it to use in last week's tabletop, but then found the other one that I used. Go here to see last week's Tabletop Tuesday if you missed it.
The little brown bird, and the candlestick are both from Hobby Lobby.


My tabletop feature is short today since we were gone all day, 100 miles north of where we live, in Jacksonville, FL at Mayo Clinic. We will return there Friday when my husband will have a heart catheterization. We appreciate all your prayers!

I can't wait to see everybody's tabletops! I may not get to reply to your comments for a day or so, but I will reply eventually! Tuesday morning I go to my prayer group, then after lunch we have to go find a new microwave, as our just died!
