Yellow Orchids

I have been looking for a pretty yellow orchid plant for a long time and finally found one this past weekend at Target! It is a Phalaenopsis, but I just like to call them orchids!

It is hard to get the true yellow color to show in the pictures.

It is right at home with the white and purples orchids! They are very easy to grow here in Florida, they do not require a lot of work and care.

This year I also found some yellow petunias, they are sometimes hard to find.
They aren't as exotic as the orchids, but I still like them!

Have a happy day!
God Bless.

Both of your yellow flowers are lovely.
My favorite colors for garden flowers are: white, yellow, blue and pink.
Last week I found some yellow pansies which I am enjoying.

Hi Katherine! Your flowers are just gorgeous! Don't think I've ever seen yellow petunias! They're just lovely!
Be a sweetie and thanks for popping in to see me,

Those are beautiful orchids, Katherine. I would love to have some, but could probably not keep them well here.

Very pretty! Speaking of tropical plants. I bought a red Mandavilea this year. I pointed out to Honey Bear a redwood trellis in another pot and told him that came in a Mandavilea from another year. He wanted to know where it was now. I had left it out and of course it couldn't survive our winters. I think I'm going to try bringing this one inside to see if it will live through the winter this year.

Love the yellow orchids. I love orchids, period. My daughter always has white orchids in her house. She really knows how to keep them going. Every time I've tried it, they died. I think the lighting in her house is perfect for growing them.

I'm a little late in answering your question about winning the book, being eligible. Yes, you are eligible. We'll know in a week who the lucky winners are.

Hugs,
