Decor-a-Tea - Living Room and Dining Room

Today I'm sharing tea related things in my living room and dining room.

We have two Thomas Kinkade paintings in the dining room that are tea related. The one above is Olde Porterfield Tea Room.

The TK painting above is Tea Cup Cottage.

This is my yellow tea cart painted with yellow roses on it! I had to have it when I saw it in an antique store. I've had it about eight years.

I display my yellow depression glass on the tea cart. I do use the tea cart when I have tea parties.

My grandmother's antique tea pot (or is it a chocolate pot?) is displayed in a vignette on top of the china cabinet.

This little crystal tea pot is really a paper weight. It sits on a little mirror on top of a curio cabinet in the dining room.

I think this is called a Muffin Stand. I bought it at an antique store about eight years ago. I display some of my favorite tea cups on it in the living room. They are removed when our grandbabies come to visit!
This plant stand is in the living room. I display a few miniature tea pots on it.
Close-up of the tea pots. The one on the top shelf has a 3-D yellow rose on it. The all white one on the bottom shelf has 3-D roses on it.

The Old Country Roses Chintz tea cup is displayed on the end table in our living room.

I hope you have enjoyed touring our home and seeing our tea related items in several rooms. Please return, the water is always hot for tea!

Everything is beautiful, Katherine! I'm so very interested in your beautiful tea cart, muffin stand, and plant stand. They are so unique and make beautiful display pieces in your tea themed home! Yellow roses and tea. . .it doesn't get much better than that! Simply lovely!

I love the tea cart too. My girlfriend has one and I am going to her home today. I will get to enjoy it! I really love that paperweight. I have never seen one. Very cute!

Oh, Katherine, your home is just gorgeous - as always. You have displayed your tea 'things' so well. I would just love to have tea with you. Until that happens I'll just remember all of your pretties and enjoy the ones I've been blessed with. Love that tea cart with the yellow depression glass. ~Adrienne~

That tea cart is stunning!!! I'd have snagged it too! I totally forgot in my post that I too have a tea cart, it is iron and is outside on my deck! Thank you for sharing all your lovely tea items. Your home is beautiful!

Very much enjoyed my visit, thank you. The tea cart is wonderful and I can just imagine the tea parties that you have where you use it.

Got a chuckle out of the comment about grandbabies' visits. Oh, yes, the decor certainly gets changed about rapidly here, too.

Thanks for visiting me yesterday and leaving a comment. I hope that you'll come back again.

Wow! So many beautiful things in your home related to tea. I especially love the tea cart and everything on it, and the little victorian house teapots on the top of the kitchen cabinets! Thank you for sharing.

LOL You answered my thought just as I thought it about what do you do when the grands come to visit. Your collections are beautifully displayed. I love your grandmother's chocolate pot. I don't recall seeing it before. I've looked at them off and on at eBay for years. Someday.

Katherine,

I love ALL of your tea things, but my favorites are the tea cart (a real treasure in my eyes) and the Thomas Kincade tea room pictures. TK is my favorite artist - the artist of light.

Thanks so much for sharing. I've enjoyed your posts immensely.

Blessings,
Mary

Loved the tea cart and the muffin stand. I have one of the little tassle ladies just like the one you have hanging on it.
