Time for Kelli's Show and Tell. Go to There's No Place Like Home for lots more fun! Today I'm sharing the stained glass window my husband made for me. This window is installed in the window in our guest bathroom. I wanted a stained glass window, so my husband took a class to learn how to do it, and made this for me! He did a beautiful job!
I have been participating in LaTeaDah's Tea Blog-A-Thon, this past week we've shared how we decorate with tea related items on the "Decor-A-Tea." You are invited to tour my home to see the tea related items I've used to decorate. See the posts below.

Oh, Katherine, it is beautiful! Such a talented husband you have. I'm curious whether your husband made only the one window or if he continued with his stained glass work.
How beautiful and special!!
What a gorgeous window! Does he hire out? I love yellow roses and that would make a beautiful hanging piece in my dining room window. Near my yellow glass collection. ~Adrienne~
Oh that is beautiful, Katherine. How wonderful that your hubby actually took a class and then made it for you himself. If that isn't love?!!!

What a great job; love it--oh yes, and I notice it is a yellow rose.
Wowzers, what talent. This is his first one?? Just imagine how fabulous he would be if you had him make you more lol.... just a thought.
I already do consider you my friend! I found the cloche at Kirklands. I don't know if you have any by you, but they are great. They actually were on sale for $10.00 when I bought them. Another one of those squealing moments! I thank you for your comment though on the gifts. I really consider it an honor and joy to give to my family and friends gifts from my heart.
Your husband is very talented, Katherine! It's just beautiful!!
Hugs,
Kelli
I just love it that you are an Alabama girl too. I grew up in central Alabama an hour and a half north of my hometown. Thanks for sharing that little tid bit. I love hearing from fellow Alabamians!

OH, that last comment makes it sound like I don't realize that you now reside in Florida... I do!

Katherine, thank you for your comments on my Show and Tell. In answer to your question about the mirror on the inside of the chest, yes it is yellow roses.
Thanks for your interest, and have a good weekend.

Beautiful stained glass. He did do a good job. I did stained glass a few years ago. Some of my earliest blogs were about it and one of the pieces is on my sidebar. I think stained glass is so pretty.
Katherine,
Sorry I am so late getting over. The stained glass is beautiful. Now I'm off to see if I've missed any of your tea posts.
Blessings,
Mary
