Spring!

Cuisine Kathleen is doing an impromptu Let's Dish for Spring (only) tablescapes! Since I had to take down my orange and yellow Easter tablescape and do a new one I decided to do it in time for her Let's Dish.

I left the new yellow tablecloth for starters:

Out comes the woven spring green placemats again, along with lime green plates (from Dollar Tree)

These pastel plaid napkins match really well
So do the pretty ceramic napkin rings decorated with tiny flowers and a bow!

The centerpiece has pale yellow birds (from Michael's) A green dish holds silk spring flowers and a birdie.

Tucked in with the bird and flowers is sheet music of a favorite song:

So there you have it! Plain and simple, but I think it's lovely!

 What do you think?

I had a hard time getting the colors in the napkins to show up.

 Here's a better picture:

A special place just for you.

With a nice view of the little yellow birds:

This tablescape with this song is dedicated to my ninty-year-old Aunt Catherine who went to be with the Lord this week. We will miss you, Aunt Catherine, you gave us lots of nice memories!

This is my third bird themed tablescape this spring!
And I have even more little birds of all different colors, they are all so sweet!

Happy Spring everyone, I hope you have lots of pretty spring flowers and birds......and no more snow!!! We're in Florida, but also having cooler than usual temps this spring, it's very nice, we are enjoying it while we can!

I'm linking to Cuisine Kathleen, Tablescape Thursday, and Seasonal Sundays. Click on their names for lots of inspiration.

So very pretty and the colors just shout, "Happy Spring!" I love your placemats and napkins. And your centerpiece is precious with the sheet music as a focal point. Thank you for sharing, Kathleen! Rosie @ The Magic Hutch

Katherine, you table is absolutely lovely!! I love the colors and the birds and I need to visit my Dollar store today. The plates are wonderful. My favorite thing on the table, however, it the sheet music to "Morning Has Broken", one of my favorite all-time songs. I have sung it (mostly, in my head!!) on many a Spring morning. Just perfect!!

I love this! I have some plates that are similar, and I have a table cloth to match the linen (and my sister has the matching napkins like yours.) I should have thought to pull it out and do a table. Ugh!

My favorite thing about it, though, is the "Morning Has Broken" part. We had that song at our wedding for when the mothers walked in. (We got married in the morning.)

And I'm sorry about your injury and the neck brace. I lift you for very soon healing. I would send a cyber hug, but I don't want to hurt you.

Well, I tried to get the same lime green plates at Dollar Tree three different times and each time they would sell out the day or so they came in! I have gotten the golden yellow they had at same time (set of 8) but wanted at least four green! I got the coordinating bowls, striped coordinating bowls but want those danged green Dollar Tree green plates!!!
