The Proposal!

Our family had some excitement this past weekend! My first grandchild, grandson Taylor, proposed to his sweet girlfriend, Emily!!

He was very creative with his proposal and he did surprise Emily!
These three little girls are friends of Emily and she has babysat them for years.

Here Taylor, the three little girls, (and their mother was the photographer) wait for Emily to arrive:

Lily helps with the rose petals on the ground:

The signs are in the right order

It's time, line up girls!

Turn the signs to the blank side:

 Here comes Emily!

Oh, my! What's going on here??
 Are you ready girls?
Each one held a sign and one-by-one they flipped them over to ask the question!

Then Taylor knelt down on his knee!

The ring:

The looks on their faces - priceless!
 YES!!!

Placing the ring on her finger!

 It's so beautiful!!

                        Sealed with a kiss!!

and a hug!
 So sweet!!

He also brought flowers and balloons!
What a guy, he thinks of everything!!

They also gave the little girls roses for being there to help!

Emily shows Lily her ring

The happy couple!

 Congratulations!

May God Bless Your Engagement and Marriage!!

They haven't set the date yet, but are thinking about October

It's going to be a fun year with all the wedding festivities coming up!

(Emily looks like a teen, but she is 21!)
 Isn't she a beauty!

 How cute is this?

What a great idea, Taylor!!
I'm so happy for you!

Thanks to the little girls for helping,
and to their mother for taking the pictures to share with us!

Taylor and Emily live in Tallahasse, here in FL, too far
away for me to be there for the engagement surprise,
I'm so thankful for electronic equipment to
be able to see all this!
I hope you enjoyed seeing it too!
I'm sure I'll have lots more pictures
to share in the next few months!

Katherine
P.S. - I tried to change the pictures to extra large, but they didn't work good.

I'm linking to The Tablescaper's Seasonal Sundays! Thanks for hosting, Alma!

Carolyn,
Emily won't take the looking young statement as a compliment until she gets our age! LOL!

I'm trying not to be envious because this just looks so fun and wonderful. We used to have a tea room here, and my girls and I enjoyed it. I need to grab a few friends and see if they have one in Savannah.

He's a creative man! Love the way he set the scene - and the looks on their faces after she said yes!
