Partridge in a Pear Tree
I found this adorable keepsake ornament in a Hallmark shop before Christmas and couldn't resist buying it! It is the first in a series, so they will probably have twelve of them, one each year until they go through all twelve in The Twelve Days of Christmas song!

Since we didn't put our big tree up this year I displayed this new ornament on this candle stick!
This ornament isn't real Christmas looking so I'm leaving it out for a while (maybe all year!)
Each of the twelve ornaments in this new series will feature the subject from a different day in the song.I can hardly wait to see what the next twelve ornaments will look like! I won't say how old I will be when the last one is presented! LOL!

During the busy times of the holidays, I completely forgot to get that ornament and by the time I remembered it was too late..I just love that ornament and everything 'The 12 Days of Christmas"
I love the Hallmark ornaments and try to get one every year...I didn't see that one, though, otherwise I would have bought it as well:-) It's so gorgeous and I don't blame you wanting to keep it out all year!! I'm going to the mall in the city today and will check out Hallmark to see if they have anything left in their ornaments...right now they're 75% off! xoxo

I always love the Hallmark ornaments because of the details. Won't this be fun? I wonder if they will do multiples on the following years or just one turtle dove, one drummer, etc.
