Heart of the Home - Favorite Cupboard

I'm thankful to Shelia at Notesongs, for hosting her party all week! I'm a little late (due to some "technical" difficulties,) but here I am now! Click on Shelia's name for lots more fun and inspiration!
Here's our small pantry right in the middle of our great room/kitchen.
As you can see it is like a very large column and the top is a display area.

Inside the door we have racks that hold my tea collection.
While my husband was on his skiing trip in CO this past February I cleaned this pantry out and reorganized it using the baskets (from Walmart.)
It is so nice to be able to see where everything is and just pull out the basket!
Baking items on top shelf.

The foil, plastic wrap, etc. has a special place!

Cereal on bottom shelf. Pretzels, chips and snacks in the basket on the floor!

Are you wondering where all the canned goods are? See picture below: They are on these wire shelves in the laundry room which is right across from the kitchen! It is so small it was difficult to take pictures because I couldn't open one of the doors (that leads to the garage) since it covers the shelves when open.

Here's the other door open.
The three shelves are from ceiling to floor.

That's a remedy for a small pantry!

A fun party! Thanks for hosting, Shelia!

Katherine, your pantry is fabulous. I love all the shelving on the door. I had that in a previous house and it was so handy. Very organized. Hugs, Marty

nothing like a great pantry. I have a huge one..and I probably take it for granted. But it sold me on my house!

You have it all nice and organized, KK. I know how good that feels. There is a lot of room in that cupboard, which is so nice.

Hi Katherine! OH, I love your pantry and you have it all together and organized! Doesn't that feel good? Love your other one too with your canned goods. I'm so glad you made it to my party! :)
You are a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

You have a beautifully organized pantry, Katherine. I really like it! I have a new kitchen and my "pantry" is a narrow, tall cupboard with sliding out drawers and my lazy Susan cupboard. My "real" pantry is large and is in a room in the "shop". But it isn't convenient --- it's in the back yard!

What a clever idea. I wished I had a place for a pantry.

Now that's what I call a wonderful organized pantry:-) I really love the idea of those shelves on the door. I would do the same for my pantry except that I have a folding door! lol I cleaned out my pantry a few weeks ago but now it's all upside down again. I need to get baskets like you used, it would make it so much easier to organize. xoxo

You & I both used the baskets from WalMart to organize our pantries but yours looks soooo much better!! I wish I had those door racks. You have more tea than me & that's saying a lot!!!

Did your hubby install all that shelving??? I know that FL homes without a basement need to make good use of every inch & you sure have!! BRAVO!!
