Not a very good picture, but you can see the name and make. I took these photos last year, and thought I had accidentally deleted them, but found them recently!
Each plate has a silver deer in the center and on the cups:
There's also a regal deer in the center of this serving bowl:
My daughter and her husband like simplistic things that are very elegant though simple.
The centerpiece is my son-in-law's grandmother' s antique candlestick:
A child's plate is perfect with child sized silverware:
The silver fork and spoon belonged to both my daughters when they were small.
The napkin rings are silver with small silver bells:
The salt and pepper shakers are small bells:

She inherited the silver from me:
It is "Silver Surf" by Steiff. The crystal was also mine, both sets are gifts from my wedding in 1960.I have forgotten the name of the crystal and can't figure out how to find it, anybody know?
The stems of the tea and water goblets, and the sherbets, are curved at the bottoms, same as the "surf" design on the silver.
I remember the name of the china I chose back then (not shown here) it is Symmetra by Castleton. My daughter also has the china.
The Symmetra china is plain eggshell with a single platinum band around the edge and goes well with her Kate Spade winter china, above.
Please let me know if you have any suggestions to find out the name of this crystal.
It is from the 60s.

It is, indeed, the simplicity of it that makes it so lovely. I love the way those red candles just stand out.

FABULOUS Kate Spade dishes!!! I love 'em!!! She comes up with some really cool stuff. I don't have any of hers yet (I've been prohibited to bring another dish into this house until spring!), but it's on the bucket list! The napkin rings are really unique! Love 'em! Very neat flatware, too. The curvy shape is very interesting and a perfect foil to the china. Have a great weekend!
