Tabletop Tuesday

Tabletop Tuesday! Marty at A Stroll Thru Life hosts this fun day for us so we can play with our accessories to create vignettes in our homes and share them with our blog buddies. Go here for lots more inspiration.

Today I'm showing a vignette I did before I put up my Easter decorations (and changed it!) One of the items in this vignette is now in the process of transformation. I'll share the transformation soon.
This vignette is on the end table in our formal living room. I used two clocks from my clock collection as inspiration for this vignette. I have a weakness for unusual clocks and usually buy them if they are very inexpensive, which these were at Hobby Lobby!

Some of you may remember the tablescape I did a while ago using these clocks
as a centerpiece, go here to see it.
Two vintage books tied with ribbon complete the vignette.
The little girl bust also came from Hobby Lobby.

Be sure to come back next week to see the mystery transformation! I'm keeping what I'm doing a surprise!

Thanks, Marty, for hosting!

Have a happy day!
God Bless.

Katherine

Katherine, this is just lovely. I love all of your clocks and the bust is beautiful. The books are such a great idea tied with the ribbon. Decorating a narrow table is especially hard I think, and this is just perfect. Beautiful. Thanks so much for joining the party. Hugs, Marty

Hi Katherine! It is so nice to meet you. Thank you for visiting me and leaving a sweet comment. You worked for NASA. I am very impressed AND interested. Just tonight I was outside after sunset and looked up at the sky and was amazed. How exciting to be a part of the space frontier!! Now that we have met, don't be a stranger, and I won't be one either.

Love,
Susan and Bentley

Every once in awhile I see something that brings happy tears to my eyes. I suppose the visual just touches my heart and that's what seeing your old books tied with a ribbon did. So sweet and special. Thank you for sharing this with me Katherine and also for visiting me.

Hi Katherine...

My friend, you have some of the prettiest things! I love those two clocks...I've been looking for something similar to put on my mantel. Ohhh...and I love your little french girl bust! What a great idea...to use a pretty ribbon to tie a couple of old books together...looks beautiful! I'm going to put that idea to memory!

Thank you so much for coming by for a visit and taking a peek at my Peter Cottontail vignette! I always enjoy your visits, sweet lady! I hope that you're having a wonderful week!!!

Warmest wishes,
Chari @Happy To Design

Hi K,
Just dropping in to say hi! My mom loved clocks, the kind that chime. They were never syncronized though, so if you weren't used to it, it was a little annoying! :)
I have one of them on my wall, but I don't wind it!
Hope you are well!
