Spiritual Sunday

I'm joining in Charlotte and Ginger's Spiritual Sunday today and sharing some of my Nativity collection. For more inspiration, go here.

This Nativity is special to me because my husband selected it
and brought it home to me from Italy!
It is displayed on my yellow rose tea cart in the dining room.

I started collecting Nativities many years ago.
I only buy the ones that are a bit unusual, and inexpensive!
Such as this one,
it was only $9.99 at Walmart a few years ago.
It is displayed on my old sewing machine
with my grandmother's antique clock.
I haven't found a new Nativity this year, but
I bought two last year 20% off at Hallmark:
This one is a wood-like material, and Joseph
is 14 inches tall. I like the big cow and sheep with them
It is displayed on top of my tall doll curio in the family room.
The flash makes the glitter on the fruit too shiny:
A better picture of the fruit.

The second one from Hallmark is also in the family room:
I liked this one because it has the three kings.

Joseph is 11 1/2 inches tall.

I have two all white Nativities, this one
is displayed on the tea tray table in the living room.
It has a pearlized finish. The other white one is used as
a centerpiece on the tablescape (go here.)

I used my gold mercury glass on the bottom shelf:
This pillow has Madonna and Child on it:
Also in the living room is this framed Christmas card:
I sent these out years ago, and framed one for us!

Here's another Italian Nativity, but this one I won on Ebay!
It is white with touches of gold:
I bought this one at Hobby Lobby a couple of
year's ago, it was half price!
It is displayed on the hall tree in the foyer.
I just love the detail on it:
Also in the living room is this Nativity display in a cloche:
I participated in Marty's Cloche Party Friday,
Go here to see other Nativities in cloches, such as:
These small ones are displayed on my muffin table
Top left is just Baby Jesus in a cloche:

These baby angels looking at Baby Jesus are also favorites:
A better view:
Nativity in a wire cloche on a wire cake plate
(it was formerly a hanging planter!)
It is displayed in the family room
(great room, also has kitchen and breakfast nook)

I hope you enjoyed seeing some of my Nativity collection. I will continue to share my Christmas decorations and more Nativities before Christmas.

His destiny was the cross....
His purpose was love....
His reason was you...

(I copied the above verse from somebody's blog. She said it was from a greeting card. I just love it!

Merry Christmas!
God Bless.

Katherine

I love all your nativity scenes, Katherine. Thank you so much for visiting and for your sweet comment about my song. I think maybe someone had unchecked the auto play at the site. It seems to work now.

Blessings,
Cathy

Hello dear Katherine:-)

My apologies for not visiting much the last week or so, been getting all my Christmas preparations done and hardly any time for the computer except to post! Now that I'm pretty much done, I can play again:-)

I soooo love all of your nativities, how precious they all are. So many different types that I've never seen before and I also love the way you've displayed them all. Beautiful! xoxo
