Cloche Party

Marty is once again hosting one of our favorite meme's, her Cloche Party! We all enjoy participating and browsing other blogs. Go here for lots more fun and inspiration. Thanks for hosting, Marty!

Since St. Patrick's Day is our next "holiday" I'm starting with this theme.

I bought these Irish figurines recently at Michael's, they were $4.99 each, but I used the 40% off coupon two different weeks and got them for $3 each.
I also used them in the new terrarium I bought at Home Goods.

It was black, but I painted it with liquid gold leaf

I think they are so cute inside

Inside the etched cloche below I have the Kim Anderson kissing figurines

sitting on the clear glass cake plate with prisms.

"Kiss me I'm Irish!"

I used the same etched cloche for Valentine's Day:

I think this little figurine (from Home Goods) is so pretty

I haven't found the perfect item to fit
inside yet, so for now a little birdie is safe inside!

I plan to paint it another color, either gold or white

I always think of "The Saints" in New Orleans now when I see the Fleur de lis. "Who dat!"

Cloche Holiday Party!

I'm joining in with Marty's Holiday Cloche Party. Go here for lots more inspiration.
I wasn't prepared to participate in this cloche party and had to take a lot of pictures tonight with the flash (or without) and some of the pictures aren't very good quality. I'm using them anyway, I hope you enjoy seeing some of my Nativity collection under cloches.

This is one of my favorite Nativities, my husband brought it back from Italy for me.
It is displayed in the foyer on the hall tree

Another Nativity from Italy, but I
won this one on Ebay!
It is white and gold and has a cow and a donkey with it.

I bought the glass star today at Michael's
it is perfect for the bell jar

This tiny Baby Jesus fits in the small covered pastry server

Another favorite - three baby angels looking at Baby Jesus,
two little lambs are on the outside of the cloche


I call this one "Happy Birthday, Jesus!"
Here it is without the glass dome.
I surrounded this one with grape vines

The one below is displayed in the medium size etched cloche
(but you can't see the etching.)
I surrounded it with faux fruit.

I've forgotten what this is called, I have regular figurines in it year around,
but changed to a Nativity for Christmas

This Nativity has pastel colors

It is displayed on a crystal cake plate that

has prisms on it

I bought this large ornament last year after Christmas. I wanted it because our grandson, Caden, age 3, loves drums. A drummer boy is playing his drum for Baby Jesus.

The wire upside down planter is also used as a cloche for this Nativity

I did a couple of non-nativity cloche displays below:

I have a little village of Victorian homes with one home in a cloche.

The village has a lot of purple, deep pink, and red on the homes

I bought a few vintage look figures this year, below a cute snowman with two little girls

and another snowman outside the cloche.

The cloche is displayed in another village scene.

These photos are a little better because I took this this morning in better light. I apologize for the poor quality of the other photos, I hope you could enjoy the Nativities.
