Tea Time!

Yesterday I went with 19 friends to the Shakespeare's Tea Room here in town.

We took Stefanie, our Curves instructor to tea! She had never been there before.

A few other pictures of those who attended:

Here I am with Doris
Stef was very happy!

Some of the food we enjoyed, The Afternoon Tea with tea sandwiches and pastries:

Here's the a quiche with soup and salad. Their food is always fresh and delicious!

Angela, Carol, and Doris outside the tea room
This beautiful tea room is up for sale. The owner has health issues. We are hoping someone will buy it and keep it running as it is such an enjoyable experience every time we go. They have already sold most of the things in the gift shop, but the dining room will continue to serve.

Thanks to Stefanie for two+  fun years!

Such a wonderment to introduce the younger set to the joys of tea, and in such a special place! I'm sorry to hear about the owner's health issues. It's a shame when someone who has such a talent to create something so wonderful has to push it to the side in favor of caring for one's health.

What a fun time to enjoy with your Curves buddies! Problem is you KNOW she's going to have you guys work double time to work it all off later this week! :-) :-) :-)

Such a lovely event. Bringing women together is so much fun. It is a shame the owner is ill.

Awe...how sweet of your ladies to take your friend to tea. I love it! I know you gals had fun! Now let me ask...did you have those nice-looking sandwiches after you left Curves or before you went? LOL! Hugs and blessings, Cindy

Oh how I would LOVE to do that! We used to have a British Tea Room here, and the girls and I would go there when they had a school break. They closed it. I hope someone buys that one!

What a sweet gesture for you to take your Curves instructor to tea. How lucky for you to have such a lovely place in your town. I do hope they find a new owner so it can continue.

Thanks for being a part of "Oh, the PLACES I've been!"

Looks like a lovely afternoon tea with friends. I visited Shakespeare's a few years ago while on vacation in Florida. I hope someone will take over and keep it running. ☺
