Happy Halloween!

I have decorated for Halloween and did a Halloween tablescape to join Cuisine Kathleen Let's Dish and Susan's Tablescape Thursday. Click on their names for lots more fun.

I don't like scarey spooky stuff, but have a few cute Halloween things I use.  Something new is this witch hat garland I bought at Michael's:

I didn't use it as a garland, but cut the hats off the string.
I placed a different color witch hat at each place setting.

                                      Orange witch hat:

Green witch hat:

                                       Purple witch hat:

I also have new bowls from Michael's, the lime above and orange below:

I used purple ruffled plates from Walmart, and the green petal plates from Marshall's.
Also notice the two witch hat bread plates and two of them at cats.

 The centerpiece:

The large witch hat in the center is a nut or dip bowl with the pointed hat as a cover. I found it on sale at Cracker Barrel a couple years ago.

The witch's boot is from Hobby Lobby a while ago. I love the little candy corn dangling from the tip!

This sweet little polka dot ceramic cat is also from Hobby Lobby years ago. Note the little Jack-o-lantern dangling from the bow.

Cute purple polka dot bowl with witch's boots.

Last week I found these chair covers at Dollar Tree, and at a dollar each, couldn't resist getting a couple.

I like the color combination and patterns on the green tablecloth.

I have a small collection of vintage-look Halloween items that are displayed on the curio cabinet in the dining room across from the dining table:

The Trick or Treat ornament came from Michael's several years ago.

Wooden Happy Halloween folding card from TJ Maxx, so is the pumpkin on the box.

Love these little Trick or Treaters all dressed up in their costumes!

Cute little "black cat!"

Below, note the little "black cat" has a pole over his shoulder with a big candy corn dangling from it!

Wicker pumpkins and candy corn rag doll:
Candy corn bag among yellow depression glass.

Have a Happy and safe Halloween!

Gorgeous Halloween with beautiful things, which I love, specially because they're porcelain and ceramics, not anything cheap, lol! The dishes are adorable! Happy Halloween.

You and I have the same Halloween style. I love whimsical and happy decorations the best of all. When I looked at this table, all the festive colors reminded me of the cards my mom used to send the girls for Halloween growing up. Two thumbs up for this one!

This is such a happy Halloween table, Katherine! I love it. Your idea to use the witch hats for each place is such a good one. All your witch bits are so clever! I wouldn't like to have to wear that shoe! Linda

This entire table & its surroundings are "Spooktacular", Katherine! So many fun items & I love the idea of cutting apart the garland. I should go shopping today for such stuff, as I'm sure the prices will be reduced now.
Very, very cute ideas!! Thanks for letting us in for a peek.

fondly,
Rett
