Do you remember these fresh red roses I used in this tablescape using my initial plates?
I had cut the rose stems very short to stand in four little candle votive holders. After a week I noticed the roses were drying in place, the petals hadn't opened up before they started drying.
I like the way they look and decided to do a tablescape using the dried roses in the centerpiece.
I used this pretty planter (found at T.J. Maxx for $7.99, a few months ago.)
Faux Maiden's Hair greenery brightened up the dried roses. Several dried roses were scattered on top of the metal mirror that makes a nice base for the centerpiece.
I used the butterscotch yellow dishes (from TJ Maxx) the flatware from Home Goods, the chargers from Ross, and the glassware from Dollar Tree.
I hope you like the dried roses centerpiece,

Thanks to Susan for hosting Tablescape Thursday! Go here for lots more inspiration.
Below picture taken without the flash. I like the way both look, with and without the flash!
Have a happy day!
God Bless.

Katherine, I remember those dishes from your prior tablescape. I confess I didn't remember the roses, but oh how nicely they've dried. Nice table, and I like the pic without the flash best. Love your yellow rose arbor photo too!

Katherine, the roses dried beautifully keeping so much of the color. I love those butterscotch dishes...I had the same ones but gave them to a friend when raved about how beautiful they were.

Very elegant, and different table. The flash makes the color of the vase and flowers stand out, but the non flash pic is good too. :)
How neat that the roses dried so nicely! Love your dishes!
The red rose one for sure. Those monogramed plates are my favorite. Nice tables.
It is so pretty Katherine. Love the dried roses. Be blessed Cindy
I like the no flash picture best. The flowers dried nicely. This way you get to really enjoy them for a long time. I love those monogrammed plates from your earlier post. Your chargers are so nice. I am on a mission to find some that don't cost a fortune.
Both tablescapes are very pretty.
Blessings~

Hi Katherine,
It makes it very interesting that you often present tablescapes with multiple options and let readers choose their favorties. I always like them all!
Your roses dried beautifully! You asked if the ones I used a while back were dried yellow roses. Actually they were white (creamy white) with little streaks of green. I like the shade of brown they turned, although I suppose brown flowers would sound depressing to most people!
I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Warmest regards,
Bill
