Tabletop Tuesday

I'm happy to be back participating in Marty's Tabletop Tuesday again! Thanks, Marty for hosting! Go here for lots more tabletops!
We spent two nights with my oldest daughter, Alyson, last week on the way to and from Alabama. I'm sharing a few of her tabletops. This is her mantel in their living room. I like the simplicity, yet very striking vignette she did!
The large picture is of her two sons, my grandsons, when they were small.

The old mandolin is a family heirloom. Notice the table on the left - here's a close-up of those two small pictures:
My two grandsons, Taylor and Tanner, are wearing the same outfit in these two pictures. The boys have six years difference in age. I've always loved these pictures! Taylor is now 23 and Tanner is 17!
Their recent pictures are displayed above. Taylor's college graduation picture, and Tanner's high school junior year picture! The large book is Tanner's high school yearbook.
A long shot of the living room. I forgot to take a picture of the coffee table! I took these pictures on the spur of the moment as we were leaving (Alyson wasn't there, this will be a surprise to her!)
Another tabletop - the bookshelf containing many of her Creative Memories photo albums she has done (she is a CM consultant!)

I love her wooden floors, a new purchase a few years ago! This is also my favorite chair, it's a glider and so relaxing to sit in!

My sister sent Alyson (and her sister, Ashleigh) these two pieces of milk glass from my mother's collection. I look forward to seeing how she uses them, probably with the pretty plates below, displayed in her dining room:
From my mother's milk glass collection (above.)

I hope you enjoyed seeing a few tabletops in Alyson's home!

Have a happy day!

God Bless.

Katherine

Katherine, I was so delighted to get to see your daughter's house! She has so many neat things, and how great that she got those pieces from your mom's collection. That should be a lot of fun to have. And I love that glider! What an interesting piece that is. Your grandsons are so handsome, and I love the vignette with their pictures. Thanks to you and your daughter for sharing.

XO,

Sheila :-)

Hi, you are back! Hope your sis is doing ok. I love the milk glass--I don't have any and it is so pretty. Are those keys that are hanging on a circular thing at the center of the fireplace? I love the rocker too!
