Tablescape Thursday

Tablescape Thursday is one of my favorite days! Thanks to Susan for hosting, go here for
more inspiration.

Today's tablescape is "The Initial Tablescape," using the initial "A" from our last name!

I saw these initial plates at Hobby Lobby but waited until they went on sale for 50% off before buying them. I had to go to two different HLs to get all of them. I also bought a "K" and a "J" since I could only get four "A's"

I'm using my square red chargers and the Battenburg lace tablecloth again.

I found the monogrammed "A" napkins at Home Goods a few months ago. I was so happy to find the A as they are pretty popular and sometimes hard to find.
I like the script initials!

The centerpiece came together easily. I had bought two of these little metal votive holders at Dollar Tree, then went back and bought two more because I knew I would someday use them together as a centerpiece. Actually I thought I bought five, but couldn't find the fifth one!

I had planned to use red votives in them with this tablescape, but my husband went to Walmart today and came back with a dozen red roses for me! (He usually brings yellow roses.) I wish I had taken a picture before I cut the long stems off.

I had to find small containers to put water in for the fresh roses, so I used these little black and white polka dot tea cups! Perfect!

Roses or candles?
Roses!

I love the roses, and they are different!

I like for my centerpieces to be unique, not the usual bowl of flowers.

It started with this plate!
And this napkin:
And these roses:
I also used the black handled flatware:

I just remembered I forgot to put out some crystal stemware! Dang! I just loaded all the pictures and I'm not going to do them again!

Thanks, Susan, we love Tablescape Thursday!

I hope you like my initial tablescape!

Have a happy day!
God Bless.

Your tablescape deserves an "A" plus!! I love the script "A" on both the napkins and the plates. How lucky that you found them at two different places -- it makes it all the more fun! Thanks for stopping by my blog. Susan linked up my blog for this week, so it did make it to the party! Thanks for your kind comments on my blog. Those inital plates are very unique--of course I don't have a Hobby Lobby here. I'm going to have to monogram some napkins--I love yours.
