Tabletop Tuesday

Marty hosts our fun day where we can share neat things on our tabletops! Go here for lots more inspiration. Today I'm sharing more of my Easter decorations and will continue showing them all week.

I have changed my Easter decor several times in the past few weeks. I finally came up with something I like with my vintage-look Easter bunnies.

First I had them on the hall tree in the foyer, but since I bought a few new ones this year they look too crowded.

Next I moved them to the top of this low curio cabinet so they could spread out a little more.

Finally I put them on top of the family room TV armoire with faux greenery and flowers. I think they are happier up there, I know I'm happier! LOL!

Here's how they look individually:
Which is your favorite display?

Here's a new vintage-look bunny I bought this year:
I've been moving her around as well, above she is on the curio.
Below she is on the hall tree:
I've done a lot of rearranging with baskets too:
This is my favorite:

This big bunny tea pot has also been moved around:
On top of the tall curio in the family (above)

Above: here on the hall tree in the foyer
Yesterday I featured the vignette below with the bunny, plate, and bunny candle

Prissy wanted to be featured again! This vignette is also in our family room:

I have a mixture of religious along with my whimsical bunnies and chickens. I have posted my baby chicken tablescape and little chicks already (go here to see them.) Thursday I will post my bunny tablescape. For Metamorphosis Monday I shared a makeover done with bunnies. I will finish sharing my Easter cuties with Marty's Cloche Party coming up.

This is my childhood bible:
A friend made the cross from twigs

I couldn't decide whether to feature it with this little bird, or.....
Or this little praying bunny!
I think I like the little bunny since he looks like he is praying!

My very favorite Easter decor is this crown of thorns. My husband made it from our bouganvillia bush.
Here is is displayed on the hall tree in the foyer.
The nail was given to us at church one Easter Sunday.

The old, antique bible has been in the family for many years.
Above: it is displayed in the niche in the dining room.
I like the shadow the candle stick makes.

The colors above are more true.

I also like the shadows in the above picture,
and below:

I will feature more pictures of the crown of thorns on Good Friday.

A bouquet for you:
Have a Happy Easter!

Give thanks to our Lord for dying on the cross for us so we can have eternal life!

Katherine --

You have a wonderful collection of Easter things. The sweet bunnies and chicks. And the crosses and Bible. Thanks for sharing and Happy Easter Blessings to you.

You've inspired me with the nail & crown of thorns- words can't describe the overwhelming feelings in what it represents. Thank you for sharing it. May God bless you for showing us what we've all seemed to have forgotten.

Great Easter vignettes. I love your vintage collection. You are like me moving stuff from one place to another until it feels right. I do that all the time. Love the crown of thorns, too. We need to remember what Easter truly is and it isn't the Easter bunny.

I love your bunnies! They almost have an old-fashioned look. Thanks for sharing!

I LOVE your header (and the later pics of it)! What a meaningful and beautiful display reflective of Easter. The crown of thorns, the lilies, the bible, the nail - all perfect! You also have a great collection of bunnies and I really like that "Easter Greetings" plate. May God bless you this Easter!

OUTSTANDING collection of Easter pretties but my very most favorite vignette has to be the Bible with the nail & the candlesticks shadowing of the cross. So touching!
Well done, Katherine!

I've just come over to your "place" from Linderhof. I'm finding such lovely "spaces" in the world of blogging and your Easter decor is one of them. Your childhood Bible looks just like mine. Mine is black. I still have little treasures stored in it.

Happy Easter time!

All of your displays look fabulous. I couldn't choose a favorite. I do really love the display on the top of the armoire. Your bible and the twig cross and the crown of thorns are stunning. So perfect for the season. Beautiful. Thanks so much for joining the party. Hugs, Marty

What a great collection of Easter items! I like the way you've displayed them with vintage linens, especially. My childhood Bible looks very much like yours, but it would never have occurred to me to use it in a vignette! Very meaningful! I know your friends enjoy seeing all your creative arrangements.

Hi Katherine!

Oh, all of your displays look wonderful! I liked each of them so, don't ask me to choose! LOL The two little bunnies on the box is my favorit piece I think.

Your Bible & crown of thorns display is perfect. It instanly made me feel the spirit of what we are celebrating. Thank you!

Have lovely Easter!

I like the Christian touches to your decor. It is so hard to find them in shops. I like the crown of thorns and the woven cross. My favorites among the others is the little box, the Bunny Tea Pot and then the Bunny that is tall. I like that you used the Battenburg lace to display them on. Lace just says Easter dress to me. Remember us in our little hats, gloves, white shoes and lacy socks on Easter Sunday.

Just adorable bunnies everywhere! Oh, I just love those chicks!
The cross and the crown of thorns are so wonderful upon the Bible. I think this has to be my favorite. For this is what Easter is about! Thank you for sharing the crown of thorns.
What type of vine is the crown of thorns?
