Tablescape Thursday

Today I have a St. Patrick's Day tablescape. The inspiration for this tablescape came from these green glasses, and sherbet dishes.
These have been in the attic for years and when my husband was up there this week retrieving the Easter boxes, I had him bring these glasses down. I have had them since the early 70s. I used them with Correlle dishes that had a green floral border on them. I got rid of the dishes, but kept the glasses because they match some Phalzgraft Christmas dishes I have. (Make note to myself to get those dishes down next Christmas, I haven't done a tablescape with them!)

The Centerpiece:

You may have already seen this terrarium in the cloche party. I was planning to use something else for the centerpiece, but when I placed the terrarium on the table, it just looked like it belonged there! Everything else took second place to this!

The chargers are a lighter green than these photos show. I bought them 4 for $9.99 at Target before Christmas, but never used them. I had planned to return them, but waited too long, actually I forgot I had them! They sure work well with this St. Patrick's Day tablescape!

My green Christmas napkins also work well! The napkin rings are pony tail holders purchased a year or two ago. The clear crystal look flatware are being used in many tablescapes lately, they look so pretty with many tablescapes, I'm so glad I bought them, that $11.99 was spent well!!

Green faux lucky coins are on each plate and scattered around the centerpiece.

Won't you join me? I'm serving a green salad for lunch. Dessert will be green pistachio pudding made with crushed pineapple, nuts, green cherries, and whipped cream. Back in the 70s we called that pudding "Watergate Salad" (because it was full of nuts! LOL!) Do you remember that? Have you ever had it? I really like it, and it's easy - made with instant pistachio pudding! I always make it for St. Patrick's Day.

I don't have many pictures this time because the battery went dead on my camera. I had wanted to do my St. Patrick's Day tablescape next week, or on the 17th, but we are going to be on Spring Break soon, and I'm not sure I'll be able to post while we are gone.
