Show Off Your Cottage

Cielo at A House in the Roses invited me to join in her new Monday feature "Show Off Your Cottage," go here to see many participants and lots of inspiration.

Since our house is now decorated for fall I'm sharing some of my fall decor. I tuck in faux fall leaves here and there throughout the house.

Flocked fall leaves tucked into a floral arrangement, above and below in with my yellow depression glass collection.

Fall leaves with my mother's Jewel Tea teapot and coffeepot.

"Pumpkin Girl" figurine stands beside a lamp in the family room.

A wicker pumpkin full of silk fall flowers.

I bought this pretty ceramic pumpkin at Walgreen's last year.

Roses and pumpkins

Pumpkin tied with raffia

Acorns adorn voltive candle

Centerpiece made with mercury glass pumpkin, acorns, and pine cone.
To see the mercury glass used in a tablescape, go here.

I really like mercury glass so when I saw this mercury glass urn, for under $7 I had to have it!

I filled it with several things, but the faux vegetable looked the best!

Happy fall, ya'll!
God Bless.

Katherine

I always love seeing your beautiful autumn additions, and love your beautiful yellow depression glass! I went to a tea on Saturday and took a picture of the cream/sugar/tray in yellow depression for my Tea Things Tuesday post, but it was blurry, so I won't post it, but I thought of you when I saw the beautiful table setting in YOUR color! Everything is beautiful, as always!

God bless,
Mary

Where oh where did you find the mercury glass urn. I love it, as I love all your decorations. I have my mother-in-laws Jewel T teapot. It is really heavy when full of water, so just sits on a shelf looking pretty.

Katherine, thank you so much for your suggestion on what to do with the soup tureen. I think your idea is super. I love this piece and it is too big to put in any of the cupboards, but I find that it is really hard to decorate around. Your suggestion was great, thanks for your thoughts. Hugs, Marty

The black and glass make a great statement. The gingham napkins are perfect. I especially enjoyed seeing what your tablescape looked like in the dark with candles lit!

I need to come visit you again because I am convinced you have to have added a new room on for all your dishes!

Hugs,
Lallee
